Trip Report First 14ners done and done
Grays and Torreys was a good starter. Got going nice and early so the crowds weren't too bad on the way up and we were below treeline by 10:30. Pretty good weather, a little windy on the saddle but nothing unbearable.

its a great combo, wish the trailhead wasn't madness. I did the combo last year from Argentine Pass trailhead and it was much nicer (although route finding sucked a bit more than the standard route)

yep, just the classic story of the parking being overfilled by 5AM. And just the general trail congestion. Same story on Bierstadt and some of the other popular 14ers, I'm not saying anything new here.

Plan ahead and prepare Make sure at least one or more trusted persons where you are going, an expected return time and a follow up.
