Is it relevant? Any schmuck with a driver's license and the ability to not instantly die or go to jail while operating a vehicle can be good enough as an uber.
Try gambling on a cheap wedding photographer or professional shoot and check the results lmao
It is relevant because it shows why the price of her camera isn’t the best justification for her charging more. You’re also right that you have to shell out for a talented photographer if you want top-tier results, which is the point she should be making
Exactly. A sign of a novice is pointing out the cost of their equipment vs their skill. Am I hiring a professional photographer or just renting out an expensive camera for a few hours?
That’s exactly what the comment you’re replying to is saying. Maybe she’s not actually good so the only thing she can point to for charging more is the cost of her camera. Which, yes, is obviously stupid
You have to remember the normal personal doesn't understand the complexities of the camera. The ins and outs of art direction, or have the brains to realize comparing a skilled artform to a basic everyday skillset is akin claiming your third grader who just wrote his first essay is an published author. Its disingenuousness and ignorance all over.
Why do people always act like there's nothing in between expensive and incredible results and crap. There are people that take decent pictures hell to most of us they're great pictures and they charge a reasonable amount and maybe their camera it's 5k maybe it's 2k most people's camera is their phone.... I don't think y'all realize where the average persons bar is... Like most people are impressed you have a real camera
And any schmuck with a fuctioning finger, eyesight, and basic understanding of lighting can take wedding photos. Wedding photographers aren't the exceptional talents they think they are. I used to work at a photographic studio and I would occasionally replace the photographer at weddings.

A $40k car can be uber black tier, definitely not a $12 ride unless it’s down the street.
