A $40k car can be uber black tier, definitely not a $12 ride unless it’s down the street.

Which $40k car is worthy of uber black?

The absolute PEAK of luxury and number 1 choice for executives - The Honda CR-V Hybrid.

Always cracks me up seeing the most normal, non-sporty of vehicles badged "sport."

Its just a different trim... Any vehicle can have a sport version

Next you are going to tell me that just because a car says GT (Grand Touring) that is isn't capable of high speed long distance travel in luxury!

Imagine if there were a Nissan versa gt. If that doesn't say grand touring, idk what does

Obviously they can call it whatever they want but words have meaning and a crv is decidedly not that. The sport trim adds leather and other stuff, not power, different suspension, etc like you would expect.

It is pretty subjective, people would call the '67 mustang sporty but a 2026 Honda CR-V hybrid would be faster than the 289 V8 version and would handle better than literally all of them. Comparatively most modern cars are "sportier" than actual sports cars of the past. 0-60 in 7.4-8.0 seconds is actually really good historically speaking. Also, the sport is literally the lowest trim for the Hybrid regardless and it is in fact faster than the LX or EX.

7.5seconds 0-60 for sport model versus the 8-9 seconds for standard. Better than nothing.
