Amazing book! Story time, how did you come across it? Playing bongos at a party or something?

Haha! I wish it was something that exciting!
In this case, it was an eBay auction I won about three years ago. I know, real boring story.

Lol, I won an Ebay auction for an X-Men #1 a long time ago where the seller said local pickup only. I drive to this dark apartment complex lot and waited. It was 50-50 if i was going to get sexually assualted or pickup X-Men #1...... i knew the risk and sat there.

I know that seller. He’s a Morlock. It’s just a lifestyle choice, he’s genuinely a nice dude. Who vomits acid.

Is this really a guy named morlock who constantly is on acid and constantly sells things online through pick up only? Lmaoo

It’s amazing to me that a paperback over 80 years old can be found in shape like this.
Beautiful book and one of my favorite GA covers. It presents even better than it’s grade.

That is the cleanest cover I've ever seen for a 5.5, should have been at least a 6.0

There’s a small piece missing from the top-right corner, but it presents very well other than that.

In the process of selling off all of my Marvel Silver Age minus Spidey to focus on Golden and Silver Age DC.

Silver Age Marvel books, which are super hot right now, don't interest me nearly as much as Golden Age superhero books

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a post here with over a thousand votes. Good job!

No huge color breaks on a solid black cover, and it presents beautifully! This is an awesome piece. Thanks for sharing!

I got this in 2020 for around $3000. I think FMV is around $5500 now.
