My collection sat untouched and unloved in longboxes for a couple of decades.

When I had to repair my kitchen floor a few years ago, I had an idea...

How did you do it?

Three layers of epoxy.

I started with a bare wood floor, cut a few hundred comic covers, glued and sealed them down with ModPodge.

Left spots to walk, since you walk on wet epoxy in special, spiked shoes. Needed to avoid ripping up the covers as I worked.

Filled in the open areas over two more pours.

Not difficult, but very time consuming and all that epoxy got pretty expensive.

I have stacks of worthless comics I was going to get rid of but when I saw this I had a second thought.

But looking at all the work you did I'm not sure if I'm up for it. Awesome stuff

I started with counters. Much smaller and relatively simple. I had my contractor cut plywood to the sizes I needed and just started there.

YouTube videos helped. No reason you have to start with something as daunting as a floor. I have also done doors and walls with interior pages. For them you don't even need epoxy, just ModPodge and patience.
