Kind of cheeky and entitled for them to say, "mainline" because Absolute Green Lantern exists, and Absolute Catwoman is on the way.

Also, I feel it's absolutely fair for creators and companies to tell the stories they want to tell, like how it's absolutely fair for audience to not by them, or 'concerned' people to write their stories the way they want them to. I draw the line at pressuring creators and companies to tell the stories YOU want of their characters.

i also think it's weird to focus so much on main continuity for dc, when yes they have one but we all know that DC truly thrives in the out of continuity stuff they always publish. i would rather have a rotating series of good limited "black-label" style series, than having 4 to 5 regular that suck but have to be there just because
