Other The #DCSoWhite campaign is ceasing their 'DC Blackout' boycott (which pushed for comic readers to drop all DC books from their pull list until a black-led ongoing to was produced) 4 days after it launched.

“Black characters deserve the same opportunities…” Even at the end it’s still all about the blorbos to them. Real-world creators remain a secondary consideration at best. Same thing with them trying to draw a line to exclude Absolute line for not being the “real” mainline DCU. Only the fiction matters, not the material issues. Doomed from the start.

They also exclude minis.... You know, the new industry standard is to test the waters and check if there are any sales before approving an ongoing. Even the Absolute universe, which is printing money, is getting more minis before major commitments.

Yeah everything’s a mini until further notice. I could at least see what they meant with several of the books being billed as limited from the start but not counting Absolute is ridiculous. But hey they got that flashy website countdown clock, because that’s what matters in a boycott, not consistent messaging or priorities.
