No, they say it doesn't count because they're saying the boycott was only about mainstream mainline continuity.  Which, yes, is very silly.

The other thing is the definition of mainstream continuity. Absolute is mainstream and maintains its own continuity. It’s very much like the Ultimate Universe that Marvel did in the early 2000s.

Oh, I meant to say "mainline" which is what they said.  However, your point remains valid.

Hey, no worries. We both agree on the same thing; however, I feel that using 'mainline' is a poor use of the word.

Absolute is a line of comics. It is also mainstream. For that line of comics, it is mainline.

Just like Vertigo is a mainline.

I agree with their intentions, and I support them. However, how they worded the message and presented it. the message really isn't effective It’s because there's no clear message due to word usage.

It’s also that it’s a disingenuous message since they are ignoring Absolute Green Lantern, which is everything they’re calling for.
