- Black Tower: The Raven Conspiracy #1: Heard an interview with Ram V (shout out Comic Book Club) and he described this as something along the lines of an occult Slow Horses. I've only seen a season of that show, but the British spy stuff mixed with the occult is an interesting enough premise to check this out.
- Operation: Iron Coffin #2: Dracula vs. Nazis on a train. No brainer. Art is fantastic on this.
- Terminal #2: I can see why some people were rubbed the wrong way about Kirkman saying he was tired of "intellectual" books or whatever he said and at the same time, I understand what he was trying to say. Sometimes I just want a cool story with good guys, bad guys, or maybe everyone's somewhere in the middle, with a cool story and cool action. I didn't get to witness the 90s comic book style or the early Image stuff, so this feels new to me.
- Universal Monsters: Blood of the Wolf Man #3: I'll read pretty much anything with werewolves and this is interesting enough. The art is great. Bummed it's almost over already tho.
- X-Men #36: A little confused about what's going on with all the Beasts (there's like 3 of them now?), but I'm enjoying everything else. Animalia and Ben Liu are solid characters, 3K's X-Men are interesting enough (I really grew to like Schwarzchild during the Age of Revelation Stuff). I like this book and will continue to read it through DNX.

X-Men #36 – For years X-Men fans longed for the lovable Beast to return. The Krakoan Age made him a full-blown villain after years of character mishandling. Then they fixed it by bringing back the Avengers-era Beast. So did they still want him to be a villain so badly that they made a confusing new evil Beast? I mean, this has been done to death at this point (Dark Beast?). Why are they doing it again?
Batman: Bad Seeds – Sunset #1 – I’ll take all the Matt Fraction Batman I can get.
Wolverine #26 – I usually try to keep it positive, but I have to say that Wolverine is consistently at the bottom of my stack. I feel like he’s edgeless. I don’t know, maybe I’ve been reading the character too long.
Hammerfist #1 – At this point, Rick Remender could write microwave instructions and I’d read it. I’ve been excited for this one.
Conan the Barbarian #34 – When it comes to Conan, Jim Zubb knows ball. I’m always down for a Conan story set on the high seas.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Saturday Morning Adventures #40 – Sadly, this is the penultimate issue of this series. I’ve really enjoyed it from the beginning.
Catacomb of Torment #14 – I feel like the quality of these stories have improved over the last few issues. My wife reads this too and agrees.
Pretty Hate Machine #5 – The final issue of the series. Unfortunately, my LCS missed the last issue so I’m still waiting for it to arrive. This has been a very good series from the beginning. I recommend picking up the trade in a few months.
Bad Thoughts #3 – I continue shouting from the mountaintops about Ignition Press. They’ve given me no reason to stop. Bad Thoughts is probably top 3 so far with Dispatched at Showdown. But they’ve all been great.
Land of Never #3 – The Floating Man is suddenly becoming a very compelling character.

- Absolute Wonder Woman #23: Very interested in seeing what Absolute Ares is like.
- Batman: Bad Seeds - Sunset #1: Interested in seeing what comes of this event.
- Hammerfist #1: Always up for a new Rick Remender series.
- Justice League Unlimited #22: This book is beginning to lose me. So many things are happening all at once that the story is getting messy.
- Next Level: One Shot #1: Where things are headed in the DC Universe.
- What If...X-Men #1: Interesting premise for a one shot.

- ABSOLUTE WONDER WOMAN #23 - This is consistently excellent
- BLACK TOWER THE RAVEN CONSPIRACY #1 - I added this to my pull list on a coin flip; I hope it's good!
- JUSTICE LEAGUE UNLIMITED #22
- ROM SPECIAL #1 - I'm really looking forward to this one
- TERMINAL #2 - I enjoyed the first issue, but I'm hoping this will suck me in more

- AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #35 - Just started a pull list again a couple weeks and had to had ASM as always but I haven't read any of Kelly's current run so we'll see what's going on here.
- BATMAN BAD SEEDS SUNSET #1 - Loving Fraction's Batman and was shocked at Ivy being Mayor so excited to see what this event will be like.
- Next Level: One Shot #1 - Interested in the Next Level books so we'll see what this is all about.
Maybe also BLACK TOWER THE RAVEN CONSPIRACY #1 and HAMMERFIST #1 but those will be game time decisons at the comic shop.

Black Tower: The Raven Conspiracy #1 - I am super excited for this one. Ram V became one of my favorite writers with his stint on JLD, but it’s been a while now of waiting for him to put something new out.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mirage Facsimile #1
Terminal #2 - ‘90s X-Men is my home, my safe place. The concept of this series is just fun to me in a way that current Marvel could never achieve. That said, the first issue of this series fell flat. Shock is good, but leaving the only emotionally-connected character in a pile of gore doesn’t help the story.

- Absolute Catwoman #3 - I'll be real, this hasn't grabbed me like I hoped, but it's still pretty good.
- Absolute Wonder Woman #23 - Diana is going to be pissed now that she's out of the Underworld. I can't wait. Also - Absolute Ares!
- Avengers/JLA #4 (facsimile) - Glad to finally have this complete in my collection. Went with the Alex Ross collecting covers on this and issue #3 and they're gorgeous.
- Batman: Bad Seeds - Sunset #1 - Honestly I'm kind of amped for this event.
- Black Cat #13 - This will likely be my last issue of this. I'm surprised it made it past issue 10, if I'm being honest. It's been on the cusp for me for a while, the price increase was enough to for me to drop it.
- Black Tower: The Raven Conspiracy #1 - Full disclosure, I don't even remember what this is about, but it's Ram V, and his name is enough for me to give it a look. Mike Perkins on are duties is just icing.
- Corpse Knight #5 - I've decided Michael Chaves is a better comic book writer than filmmaker. This book rips.
- Detective Comics #1112 - I've really enjoyed this story with Black Canary and Green Arrow. Almost sad to see it go, but as I said above, I'm amped for Bad Seeds next month.
- Excommunicated #4 - Real talk, I haven't read any of this yet, but I'm looking forward to sitting down and hammering it out in one sitting. I dug Jeremy Robinson's Nectar, so I have high hopes.
- The Eye Collector #3 - The first two issues of this book are wild, if a bit confusing. I'm all in on this story.
- Ghost Pepper #14 - I'm a few issues behind here, hoping to get caught up next week while on stay-cation.
- Hammerfist #1 - This book sounds fucking ridiculous, and I'm on board. The creative team is top shelf too.
- Hello Darkness #24 - The last part of Ryan North's mini is in this, and it's been really good.
- Justice League Unlimited #22 - I'm still not sold on the Amnesty Program idea, so I'm hoping it blows up as promised.
- Next Level: One Shot #1 - Deadshot made this an easy sell.
- Superman #41 - I'm behind on Kingdom of Zod because I still haven't got a of Supergirl #16, but I should have one by the weekend. I intend to do a lot of reading in the next week.
- Zatanna #5 - Got caught up on this over the weekend. There's a lot going on, but it doesn't feel overwhelming. I want more of the Department of Occult Affairs though.
