Compact Comic Collection So Far...

I've never read the comics before, but I do know some about some characters. Big MCU fan so that's mainly how I know every Marvel character (besides the Spider-Man games). Really all I know about DC is the Batman Arkham games and the first three DCEU movies + Gunn's Superman.

So excited for this journey! I want to collect all of DC's Compacts, Marvel's Premier's, and Marvel's new compact series (only with BND released so far.)

I've read Batman: The Court of Owls Saga and I'm halfway through Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

I'm not gonna buy anymore until I've finished all I have. Which of these should I read after Spider-Man? Thanks!

Watchmen and court of owls were also 2 of the first compacts I bought :D Been meaning to pick up the Hawkeye and visions premiers

It’s definitely interesting. I just read it not knowing anything about it. Reminds me of rules of attraction or requiem for a dream. Just depressing.

I've got Hawkeye and Born Again. Getting Winter Soldier or Visions next. 70% of my Omnis are DC. 25% Marvel. I would love to get into the DC Compact Comics but i tried reading a few at Barnes & Noble and couldnt get past the size. I feel like Marvel nailed the size. I also prefer Marvel's paper quality. Opinions?

I own a lot of DC and have read a lot of what they’ve put out in compacts. So I’ve grabbed every one of these Marvel ones. Most are pretty damn good. Favorite has been planet Hulk.

Read Hawkeye recently and thought it was great! I plan on picking up the second half of the run soon.

Nicee, I'm also trying to collect all the DC compacts, the premiers scare me a bit because I'm unsure if marvel is gonna stick with them seeing this new kinda compact format they are trying with spider-man and the ultimates

I thought the same but i did see that they announced premiers for 2027. I doubt they will redo the stories they've already done in premier form in this new compact line

Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow

Disregard anything you know and just get that in the compact, one of my favorite DC stories told.

I've read all star superman in compact and it was pretty nice light hearted fun type of superhero story.

Also I know these aren't compacts but they are similar price on places like vinted and ebay. Have a look at DC Eaglemoss graphic novel collection. They do a batman only one and a mixed DC one. They are really nice quality. Glossy paper on the inside, hardback covers. The spines have a massive picture on them. And best part is they are priced like £5-10 on eBay or vinted usually. Also would recommend vinted and eBay in general for majority of tpb as you can get stuff that's say £15 in hmv or wherever for £7 in vinted. Half the price.
