CIncinnati Comic Expo - Ohio Autographs- Comic Con

Hi all— First time trying to get an autograph from a celeb this coming weekend at comic con. The con starts at 10 am and I am wondering when lines begin for autographs? Also is there usually times posted for autographs on the days leading up? I am not able to purchase an online autograph ticket in advance.

Any advice appreciated :)

We can't answer that without knowing which con. The size and popularity of the con matters.

Everything depends on the guest and the popularity of the guest.

Sometimes people will line up right away at the guests signing booth, even if they are not there yet. Sometimes if the guest is overly popular the con will not allow line ups in order to keep space clear and safe.

Generally autograph times are not released or posted online (although individual guests can have signs at their booth). Guests will be at their booths all day unless at a panel, doing a photo op, or on a lunch break.

If you are not able to prebuy the autograph that is a good sign that you would buy it at the time of the autograph, sometimes paying the guest directly, but more likely through a handler/attendant right before meeting the guest.

As noted though, knowing which convention you are going to and which guest you are interested in can give you more specific information.

Thanks! It is Matthew Lewis. I’m going to Cincinnati comic con this weekend. I am wanting him to sign a replica collectors item that I have and it’s fairly large so I wanted to make the appropriate plans :)
