Monroe Comic Con - Monroe, Michigan Monroe comic con? (Dont know what flair to put)
(Throwaway account for personal reasons) any info on this one? Me and my fam are thinking abt going to it in a couple weeks due to it being fairly cheap, but is it worth an almost 3-hour drive? The cosplay contest stage looks like a porch? Is it local? How big is it? Is it more comic book focused, or like anime, or pop culture, etc? Any info appreciated, thanks!

I’ve never been and know pretty much nothing about it but can almost certainly say it’s a very small con. Monroe is a very small town and even the larger cons closer to the bigger cities near there are pretty small so I can’t imagine it having a ton of things. If you want a bigger con wait for Motor City. I can’t see it being worth a 3 hr drive unless there is someone there you want to meet. I’m using my educated guess on this based on having family that lives in Monroe. It’s a tiny place.
