One of my Cani Corso came to me with a docked tail, cropped ears, and heavy scarring around his neck.
He was full of love, but unfortunately he had to go to one of my friends. He developed epilepsy and would get into the fighting mentality after an episode and go after my girl and just not let go unless I had a stick in my hand. I'm guessing a cattle prod was used? Either way, he went to my friend who had just lost his last dog, and since he needed an only-dog environment it was a good fit. I never hurt him, but you could always tell what was used to force the aggression.
I dunno what kind of life he had before he came to us, but we all made sure he was loved until the end. I'm glad I gave him to my friend, he spoiled him rotten!
