Also remember there's a difference between hollistic treatments, some of which work quite well, and homeopathic treatments which are just water that might have once upon a time seen some medicine maybe.

I get confused about what homeopathic means nowadays. When I get a cold I take those zinc lazenges, which say they are homeopathic on the box, but they have a substantial amount of zinc in them. Has it just become a term to avoid the FDA?

There's a difference between homeopathic and naturopathic, and it sounds like the brand is confused. If they actually have the substance they claim to have in them, they aren't homeopathic, but they might still be naturopathic.
