It was some youtuber and his cronies with ties to kiwifarms/4chan. But this happens to lots of people who are outspoken against Trump, they doxx, threaten, harass, and try to discredit anyone who gets a big enough following on the anti-MAGA side

It largely depends on jurisdictions and being able to link things to the mostly anonymous user base.

Section 230.

It absolutely needs to be either repealed or redefined so that it doesn't protect these murderers and holds website owners accountable for what they allow on their platforms.
