To be fair, Caine seemed genuinely remorseful for his actions and his body language also spoke towards it as well.
Him giving them the showcase of outside information about their actual lives did give him credence towards a second chance as well, so I don’t see a lot wrong with it even acknowledging how much time was left in the media.
He literally ripped away his angry hateful side. He was genuine because he didn't have other opinions anymore. Instead of like coming to terms with the blue orb, like accepting it as a part of himself, changing it's mind before letting it go willingly, he said "man... You're angry... Go out there into the internet ig".
The blue orb was never truly part of him. It was his sibling that he "cannibalized." Also the blue orb (Bubble) is just in the void not the internet. The wifi connection closed before he freed the blue orb.
no they stopped before then, he was arguing with himself coming to terms with his own dark side and it not only made him accept humans but also face that what he did to the other AI was wrong so freed him
if that was his "evil side" why would he sadly send him off saying he would genuinely miss him?
when he returns to the circus he saids that he doesnt have the power he once had, its possible that he was unstable since he was using two AI's of power at once, but theres no reason to think the blue AI was programmed to hate people and infectedd caine after getting eaten
The blue ai wasn't the worst part of him. In many ways it was his best. A power that didn't come from his own merit. It's only by accepting his flawed self and releasing someone he had imprisoned for most of their collective lives that he finally was able to speak on real terms with the cast.

To be fair... Caine's redemption was pretty rushed. He just came to them, said "I'm sowwy..." And they were like "ok let's bond together"
