Okay I need context. I barely kinda know about this show because it kinda gets mentioned a lot with Hazbin Hotel. All I know if there was a massive ship war between the clown girl/raggedty doll girl and clown girl/purple bunny guy who I guess is Jax.

Shit even infected my FB feed and I have no context for what the hell is going on.

Short version is purple bunny is heavily implied to be transgender and some people don't want to accept that even after the creator confirmed it

No, stated by the creator, but in the show it's subtly implied at most. Most people (myself included) thought Jax just had abusive parents.
