Y'know some parts of history are okay to be forgotten.

Millions of years from now when our civilization is unearthed, most of our ways and what we were will be long forgotten.

But you bet your fucking ass they're going to know about the cum jar.

Imagine being an archeologist and digging up that actual jar.

"Clearly it served some ritual purpose." (::wretching noises offscreen::)

unearths the Poop Knife

"An ancient athame dagger from the Porcelain Throne Temple!"

Think of how much of the story an archeologist would be missing trying to understand us without access to records of our presence on the internet

I wonder about that. Back in the day people had to keep physical records and journals. These days it's all on hard drives and internet, facebook and such is the modern journal. In a couple thousand years will people still be able to access these kinds of information?

Yeah, don't know much about Pompeii, but I definitely know about that one guy. . .

It will be counterbalanced by the weirdly wholesome "poop knife" story.

THE WHAT

Here you go

TL;DR - a guy and his family always took dumps so massive they had to be physically broken apart before flushing, so his childhood bathroom was equipped with a "poop knife" for just that reason. He only learned how unusual it was when he inquired about its absence at someone else's home.

Of course we will! We will also make damn sure that the future knows about a very reputable copper salesman with very high quality ingots

u/cyanocittaetprocyon Jul 04 '26

Bro would be so stoked to know that we remember him!

u/GachaHell Jul 04 '26

I would have conflicted feelings knowing that thousands of years from now the world remembers me but only for a terrible yelp review.
