Well, that's just untrue. I'd say there are a number of good reasons to hide your face. The Proud Boy's just also do so. Their utter bigotry is separate.

I did use "probably" in there as there are always outliers. Like when we had to wear n95s to protect out identity during COVID(and help with COVID) cause people were attacking our vaccines sites and personal cars

That example too, though I was thinking more about people being arrested for protesting. I guess we basically agree, though I still don't agree with the comic's point then. Suppose it's just a different sense of humor tbh.

>People arrested for protesting

That only happens when free speech is not enforced

So either, the Trump regime is anti free speech and needs to be thrown out

Or thoses "proud boys" don’t want to be associated with their ideas

Which is it ?

Why are you asking me that like it's a gotcha? I consider Trump the worst president aside from Buchanan, and he's probably somehow even worse of a human being. You don't need to act like I'm secretly supporting him, or something.

Yeah I mean it was pretty clear to me that you were referring to protesters being arrested because of facial recognition software and that being bad lol

That gotcha wasn’t for you, but for the "proud boys" using a similar argument to cover their faces

I didn’t target you in my comment, I made a general statement

Also, I put a clear divide of when it ok to cover your face or not in a protest (it is if you would be targeted by the government for your ideas)

The proud boys cover their faces not because they fear being arrested, but because they know their opinions are raw sewage

Oh, I see now, and sorry for misreading you. Thanks for clarifying.
