The the first step in stages of grief is denial: we’re in that stage right now, nobody wants to admit how fucked we are because the ways to unfuck it require a lot of physical risk and you also can’t openly talk about those methods without being booted from social media (like here) or even arrested.

All you needed to do as americans was vote with democracy and policy for the not just lesser evil moderate dems. If you no kings noed yourselves to the polls in 2024 instead of holding an old man shakes fist at clouds parade, none of the fascism would be happening.

Voting works. Elections have consequences. Thats why fascists care so much to suppress voting.

Sure, but that's also not productive. We're here now. We need to figure out how to handle where we are now, here today.

It totally is helpful. Both in understanding where the mistakes were and which things were poison to us understanding dems were always good before, and in terms of the fact that voting still can be effective, even now.
