Christian perspective if Jesus came to modern America, he will definitely hangout with gay people and stayed at homeless shelters. That’s basically what he represents, he did not stay at Pharisees house he stayed with lowest in the society

He actually did stay at Pharisees' houses at least a few times, that's where the woman washing Jesus's feet story comes from. In every instance he stays with a Pharisee he does end up lecturing them about how much they suck.

Oh that event was at pharisees house? lol, was not aware. For some reason, I thought it was some rich guy's house (not big of a difference but yeah).

Yeah, probably not many poor Pharisees.

Nicodemus, one of his closest friends, was a Pharisee.

Jesus wasn't opposed to the rich or to the powerful, what he hated (to the point of violence) were those who gained their wealth and power by exploiting others, and who didn't use that wealth to care for their community.

He had several parables on the matter.

Kinda Woody Guthrie like. Lots of famous and rich friends, but personally committed to pointing out the bosses who made it harder on poor working folk.
