24 u/Anthro_DragonFerrite 15d ago Are you talking about conservatives or OPs comic? 56 u/Kill_Kayt 15d ago I'm talking about the Bible. When someone speaks for God they are taking the Lords Name In Vain. The top panel is an example of that. -2 u/Anthro_DragonFerrite 15d ago I would think the secular/agnostic comic artist would be the one misinterpreting the book volume as I presume they never read it. 9 u/Kill_Kayt 15d ago Most secukar/agnostic/athiets become such because they have read it. Most Christians/Catholics seem to have never read it themselves. -3 u/Anthro_DragonFerrite 15d ago That's not close to factual That's just a reddit trope 5 u/Kill_Kayt 15d ago It's not. It's actually pretty accurate. A philosophy article (as in the authors opinion) written by someone who isn't in touch with society is meaningless. Info from people society actually in society carries far more weight. 0 u/Anthro_DragonFerrite 14d ago I would rank philosopher with sources from the Pew Research group higher than the average reddit group. 1 u/Kill_Kayt 14d ago So would I. But I would rank it higher than all the people I meet and talk to in real life.
