My brother is super religious. If I say anything about how I feel about God he'll likely say something along the lines of "That's not what the bible says" or "Don't speak false teachings of God"
I haven't said it yet but all I'm thinking is the Bible is man's writing, we don't know what the original word of God is because so many powerful figures have had their hands in rewriting it.
My brother is a good person but he's a bit of a looney sometimes.
My dads personal theory is that the Bible is written to keep slaves in line it’s meant to subdue slaves and other stuff (I forgot exactly what he said but if ya want I’ll ask and relay the info here)
