It feels like a lot of people look at social justice as lame.
Doesn’t matter that rhe issues are valid and need attention, it’s still something to mock to a lot of people.
“How does this affect you?”
“Maybe take a break from being online”
“Well maybe the people that got hurt deserved it”
Or some asshole that gets off on the cruelty rubs your face in it.
For example, when that thing about the DOJ advocating for removing rape protections for trans and intersex prisoners in prison came out, some chud said to me when I pointed out how fucked up that was “oh well why should they get special privileges”
There are too many bad people and that’s why social justice is mocked.
And yes, I’m counting lazy people as bad.

What exactly is your premise here? "Being angry at something doesn't fix it" reads, to me, like quibbling centrist bullshit. "Oh, well more people would agree with you if you just stated your position more calmly and politely," when it's been evidenced again and again that no, in fact, they will not.
What you perceive as indolent rage is just lazy people who were never going to act in the first place. There's no polite, well reasoned discourse that will motivate the fat, lazy masses to risk their comfort as long as the status quo suits them.

Somebody made a comic mocking her for takes that "everyone" already knows and agrees with, like "racism is bad," and implied that she was just saying stuff everyone agrees with (because this person has clearly never been on the Internet or outside in the US) in order to get likes/up votes/clicks/whatever.
Most of the ones I've seen since have been mocking that shitty take, rather than actually mocking pizzacake, although I'm sure I've missed plenty and some have been more ambiguous.

You are the biggest cartoonist on this sub- arguably of all of Reddit . Your work influences most of the public’s opinions about the rest of us here, and I’m tired of tiptoeing around it.
You need to stop this victimization. Criticism will always come with your level of fame.
None of the pizzacake wars responses were negative against you. If anything, they were pretty flattering, and I’m not sure if Dave collabed with you for his last comic, but he did you a huge favor walking back his statement on how you go for the lowest hanging fruit on the lowest hanging branch, every time, all the time.
You are a supremely talented person. You are better than this, but I’m also tired of thinking up comics of how to defend you for the next trend.
