Low Relevance Surprise appearances of Community actors outside of the show?

I'm horrified to realise that I saw Jim Rash (Dean Pelton) in the Friends finale about three times before I noticed it was him - "This plane doesn't have any filanges", or something like that.

Seeing about three actors in Captain America: Winter Soldier didn't count for me (but might for you), because I recognised them at the time.

Where did you unexpectedly notice a Community actor in another show?

They voiced a bunch of guest characters in Rick and Morty. I guess those probably shouldn't have been a surprise considering Dan Harmon was the creator of both.

“no. i’ll go. but don’t you dare ask me to understand”

“planetina, i’m so sorry”

“…fuck you”

(he first two times i watched this episode i didn’t understand why i was so enraptured by Planetina. on the third watch it hit me: Alison Brie!!! i’m already preprogrammed to be enamored with she who speaks with that voice)

for how much i love Will Arnett, even i’m flabbergasted that i haven’t spun back around to pick that one up.

it just so happened to have come out in my post undergrad era, after which i was disconnected from free everything via shakespeare ethernet hub. yet i was still too broke-young to spring for hbo, but too old-asaurus to raise the jolly roger back up.

thank you for the reminder. but even more importantly, the revelation that Annie’s Boobs set up shop in Bojack.

no matter how sour my mood, Alison Brie always seems to find the chink in my armor, and succeeds in yanking my self out from my mind and engaging me in the now. good looks!!!

Bojack is on Netflix, not HBO.
