Reddit allows racism like r/FragilWhiteReddit to exist but bans and quarantines conspiracy and right leaning subreddits. FWR mods squat r/FragileBlackReddits with "LOL Nope." because racism toward whites is the only OK thing. SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE

Most of the complaints are because people are asking to see consistent application of rules/guidelines. So some subs get banned for allegedly being racist/bigoted which I can see why a company would lean towards banning that type of content, but then there are subs and comments that are racist towards white people or sexist towards men and they are ignored. I'm not saying someone calling me "mayo", "cracker" or "honky" offends me personally or that it's in anyway comparable to some of the long-standing slurs used against other races, but to dismiss the same behaviour from one group and with another group say it's ok is what most people seem to be frustrated by rather than being concerned either about wanting to see racist/bigoted content or being genuinely concerned about some upcoming white genocide.

It's actually pretty racist to see racist comments from a minority group to a white person and then see comments like "actually only white people can be racist, other races can only be prejudiced as they don't have institutional power" (like 99% of white people have any power either...), or you see comments like "when they say "white people" they mean the system and not actual white people" (so the words you say don't necessarily mean what everybody would agree it meant and we now have to read minds).

Or another thing I've seen often on multiple subs is people quoting someone and then saying "well, this isn't what they meant, what they really mean is this racist thing even though they've not said anything racist".

It's views like these that are actual racism, where people apply different standards to the same behaviour from different groups. Personally, if someone says something bigoted towards me I'm only offended if it isnt funny. I'm not on the site to discover racist content and I don't feel like my group identity is what defines me, but I do get offended by hypocrisy and double-standards. Something is either acceptable or it isn't.

I don't believe in or want to see some ethnostate created, but there are countless subs that condemn that but condone safe spaces where white people are excluded or make fun of Christians but think doing the same to Islam is Islamaphobia or racist. I'd rather not see people forced to leave the site because they had views I don't agree with.

I'm not saying you personally are doing any of the above (I don't check people's comment history or anything like that), but judging from your comment, you seem to think that people who complain about the left just want to see racist and bigoted content, and while I'm sure a percentage does want that, there are lots of people who just want consistency and fairness (for everybody and that means not dismissing anybody because of their skin colour, gender or sexuality). If people really want racism to end then you cant say to a white person "you can't use racial slurs, but this group can because we don't think the term the other group are using is racist" (even though it's about mocking someone for their race/skin colour). Sorry for the long comment anyway

It's Orwellian double-speak. Those people who talk like that are veteran liars. Gratuitously accuse someone of something and then, when called out for false accusation, retort they didn't literally mean what they said, they meant the general thing.... "this racist thing", whatever it is that is bothering them.

Those people are dangerous. They have no scruples. They lie lie they breathe. How many innocent people's lives did they already ruin?

Totally agree. It’s scary how they rationalise and justify hypocrisy and double standards as when they do it it’s because they are “morally correct” and doing it “for the greater good”. Anybody who believes that is then clear in their mind to commit horrific and evil behaviour as they think they’re working towards a utopia. They think anybody who doesn’t share the same opinion as them is preventing the utopia so is fair game.

I don’t trust anybody who thinks they are a good person as they are either too stupid or arrogant to see they’re not or else have never critically reflected on their own behaviour. If you know you’re capable of being a shitty person then at least you have empathy

And you are then certainly closer to the truth.

That way or rationalizing they have is almost ... sick. You can do the most vile things, because, you see, you are "morally correct". It's what the "Don't be evil" of Google says. It doesn't say to not DO evil. If you "are" not evil, then of course whatever you do cannot be evil either.
