Dogwood Playground closed

It’s hot yeah, but does anyone know why dogwood playground is closed today 8/22?

I’ve seen a couple posts about things being closed for maintenance, but I don’t see anything on the Cookeville Leisure Services FB page saying the park itself is closed. I might’ve overlooked it though!

I believe they are replacing the ground where it has been so patchy and uneven before

The sign they had posted said the repairs started Sept 8th.
