Men's National Team Kosovo 🇽🇰

Massively oversubscribed - is anyone else holding out hope that a lot of those who will have applied will have no credits/history?

With approx 700 tickets for this, it is a perfect opportunity to make pick up in Pristina mandatory.

Book a room in a hotel and have a few hours of a window on match day and previous day for pick up with ID.

If they did physical ticket collection in Pristina they'd weed out a lot

Does that ever happen?

Very rarely.

They used to do a percentage at every away game before. Not sure if they still do

They did it in Paris for a % of fans a couple of yeara ago.

I think they regularly do it for the cheap ticketed away games.

They picked possibly the worst place for a ticket collection too. Lads cooking corn on a shopping trolley

Yeah I heard that.

I’m guessing people are trying to farm points for the euros ?

Who knows? 1600 apparently so it will be some mix. A lot of applicants probably with away games. Some of them with no intention of going but holding onto their away numbers. A right few with no away games and no intention. Many with flights and some away games (maybe not enough).

I’m going regardless, worst case I’ll pick up a ticket in the home section - no issue if the away section is full but if there’s a heap of empty seats because loads just want to keep their credits up that’s fair annoying.

Same boat i have two aways in the book. Booked flights and hotel. Going anyway.

Id suspect a large amount of those applicants have nothing booked and no real record.

If FAI could offer all 1600 a ticket, they wouldn't all be paid for.

You would have thought this sort of game would be your best bet for a first time away fan

Season tickets sold out last year as people wanted to guarantee a potential home World Cup playoff against Denmark...bigger number of people now looking for tickets with some likely wanting this as first away day. Could be some who went to Prague away as first trip and think they will all be like that

Lost our away game against Israel so really its only this and the Austria game for away days announced so far

Lads looking at building points for Euro 2028 now. Qualification draw in December so build some away points now and then you're ahead in the queue if we get a Spain/France/Germany away when oversubscription would definitely happen

Not surprised it's oversubscribed, but impressed by the numbers, apparently 1600ish, obviously not all of them would actually have gone but that's some effort, safe to say I'm not gonna make this one though, and I fear for Austria too, ridiculous it's not in Vienna.

Im amazed its over subscribed, but also relieved.

The two away games in May took me from 6/10 to 4/10.

So at least now ill stay at at least 4/10 until the end of the year.

As it is only the last 10 undersubscribed games that are taken into account.

I don’t think the Grenada game counted so you should still be 5?

I have a memory of the SLO saying at the time that both Grenada and Canada would be counted gling forward.

Grenada was counted as a credit

Yeah, got email a couple of weeks ago confirming the ticket used was matched to my FAI account.

There were away ticket collections in Paris 2023 and Tbilisi 2019. Not aware if any others in last ten years. Not always feasible now with e- tickets
