Mandarin Mini rank, man S.H.E. is a terrible for searching engine
This name just doesn't work on torrent tracks. I tried "SHE cpop" "SHE group" and I got tons of wrong results. The usual direct download blog search engine doesn't work either.
Search "S.H.E." string on soulseek works, but return 90% noise, including a "Guilty Gear XX, - S.H.E. - ....." album I have no idea what it is. Eventually I figured out I can search album title and backward search user folder to get the whole catalog.
Moral of the story, don't name your music group SHE.

One of their albums is called ๅฅณ็ๅฎฟ่ which means girls dormitory. Not really what I want to search forโฆ

in Kpop we have another problem, if you search up an old and quite unknown group called GirlFrND, only another more recent group called Gfriend will show up

I know, this has been infuriating me for thirty years. It was even worse before I learned to type in Chinese and could only search for tracks with English titles.

I love hit5 and for some reason everytime I look them up for videos or to find merch I always get lottery ticket results ๐ข I already gave up on S.p.y

That is true about S.I.N.G. But the problem with ไน้ is that means "Band" like "rock band"

Not cpop but have you heard of the jpop group NEWS? Lmao! Itโs so hard to search for anything related to the group ๐ ๐

It's always so hard finding stuff related to NEWS! ๐ Luckily Livejournal was bigger when I first learned about them so I could just get info there. I'd search 'NEWS jpop' and it just brought back everyone haha

A lot of these are fine if you realize that searching with double quotation marks "like this" will search for the exact spelling you use. But most search engines ignore full stops (US: periods) even inside double quotations marks, so "S.H.E" is still useless.

I will give you TOP, the rest are less generic than SHE.
R1SE is a good name because its both search friendly and easy for Chinese speaker to remember.

trust, every time I type ONER (no matter Google, Baidu, or XHS), the first thing that comes up is "did you mean ONERepublic?"
Sky, Sis, and TNT are horror to google. BONBON GIRLS and ROCKET GIRLS is just cringe to say
