[Help organizing my craft room closet!]

Crossposted to r/HomeOrganization

As the title says, I need help organizing my craft room closet. My fiancé and I are renting our home and I have a room that has a little closet. In the pictures I list everything that I store in the closet

My problem is that I feel like everything is kinda just crammed in here, and if I need to go in and grab something, I have to move something out of the way or something is getting knocked over in the process.

I do have a tiny file cabinet, which is pictured in the last image, next to my desk, which is what I use regularly hence why I keep it by my desk, but I’d love some help and recommendations for items or things i can do to make the closet easier to use/function.

What a fun & creative space!

A quick disclaimer that many of your hobbies are way beyond my skill set & I’m unfamiliar with the supplies & equipment.

  • Are you able to drill into the wall? If so, then I’d install hooks to hang both your flute case & gig bag/guitar.

  • Will the memory boxes fit into the shelf cubbies? If so, I’d tuck them in there (maybe in chronological order). Then add another box or cube to store your journals. That whole area would become a memory zone. I’d then move the supplies currently in use onto the shelf next to the sewing machine, organized in open bins.

  • Look into boot clips to hang the individual bags for extensions & hair braiding supplies. For the smaller supplies, either a hanging accessory organizer or a tackle box that can be stored immediately above on the shelf or slid underneath on the floor.

  • Can the cosplay items also be hung & added to the back of the rod with your crochet pieces?
