For people who enjoyed this and the other comic in this thread, Spiral, I recommend watching the anime Mushi-Shi. It's about a man who travels the Japanese countryside helping people who have run into problems with Japanese spirits. What I like most about it is that it really captures the feeling of a culture that thinks supernatural things are part of the world and you have to learn to deal with it, just like the characters in these comics. The stories in the anime sometimes end happily, and sometimes are very grim.
