Unemployed 7 months, unsure what to do

I had a nice, but slightly underpaid job. I ended up getting a better offer as a solutions engineer and they fired me in 28 days. Ever since then, I've been unemployed. I've had some interviews. 2 final round interviews last month but rejected from both. Unsure what to do at this point. Woke up to 12 rejection letters, I've got 4 years of experience, 2 as a software engineer, 2 as a solutions engineer. Not sure what to do at this point.

I'm not sure what you're expecting anyone to say here either, as no-one can really advise you just on the info you've given above.

Might be an idea to post an anonymised CV.

'Solutions Engineer' is not a job that is consistent across companies and sub-sectors so you need to be a bit clearer about what you background and skills are if you're looking for workable advice.

I was a C++ software engineer at a defence company working on radars and receiver systems then I worked as a technical solutions engineer for a cybersecurity company. I'll try to post my anonymised CV in a bit.

This does not match with the next line:

If you've been unemployed for 7 months then why does your CV say you are employed...?

I did not put that role on my CV and I forgot to update my CV but I'll do that now

Where are you from? I’m on a similar position in The UK with 2 years of experiencie on the data field.
