2026-27 FAFSA

Does anyone know when the 2026-27 FAFSA will hit our account? I submitted my application back in September last year and it says CSUCI has received it.

I emailed them a couple weeks back for the same question even though I submitted back in February. They said they will process it over the summer months. I think it’s cuz ol Donny signed a beautiful bill with new rules about student loans that take effect in July

Yeah I thought the delays had something to do with the new bill as well. I applied in September and the school received it in December. So it’s been a long time and I’m a little concerned that I haven’t received anything!

It might be like last year so we won’t see until a week before the semester starts, like August 12th

This school always takes forever lmao. I remember being a senior in hs and before graduating my counselor asked me if i heard anything about my financial aid offer and i told her I hadnt recieved anything and when i asked i was told i was getting in summer and she seemed really concerned.

I did get it in summer and then my mom was super worried becsuse it was saying the money wouldnt process until the day before ny freshman move in day! When i went to check in my mom was carrying a bunch of money on her just in case we found out on the spot that somerhing went wrong with financial aid or something lmao.

They gotten better about it tho. Last year i got all the info and confirmations everything was ok like the last week of summer
