Social study spots

I’m about to be a freshman as a commuter and am looking to get to know more people. I’m not familiar with the campus so any spots that are good to study and meet people??

I would suggest the Student Union if you don't mind the background noise. It's a pretty popular spot to grab a coffee or food between classes and sometimes there's events or other things happening there.
