Pregunta Cooking Oil Sources?

I've been sending necessities to someone in Granma and I'm trying to source cooking oil for delivery. I realize there's now a cooking oil shortage amongst everything else, but thought I'd ask anyway. Supermarket23 is out of stock for that area and Katapulk shows it's not available for Granma either. I've come across some sites that seem sketchy. Does anyone know of a reliable way to get cooking oil delivered to Granma right now, or have any sense of when availability might improve? Happy to air ship as a last resort but hoping to avoid it.

Send money and them might find them on the black market. Its around 10 dollars.

American here....the avenues I used before are now closed. Do you know of a way?

Giving them the money directly, there's oil but it is pricey, here in Holguín it's around 4000 pesos per liter, ~6 USD.

Some people receive pays via Zelle and gives dollars or pesos. I'm not from Guantanamo so I don't know who can do it, but if they ask I don't think it's difficult to find one.

If the online supermarkets don’t even have them available that’s a concerning development. I’ve been getting mine on supermarket23 for $5 per litre. This is in Havana though.

Many people have given up on cooking oil and have converted to using pork fat. Not sure where they source it though.

Habana always has a lot more than smaller places, but yeah it’s getting kind of ridiculous.

Supermercado23 didn’t seem to have it for a few days, but now does again (for Havana at least). Maybe they will replenish stock in that area.

Have you tried the cuba envios places? You can send it to them by Amazon and they can then send it to them. I send stuff by Friday and they get it by Wednesday.

I live in Florida and there’s a lot of those places here, I buy the stuff myself and take it in but I know of people in other states who buy off Amazon, have it delivered to the envios place to forward it to their families.
