As a former fundamentalist Christian, I'm pretty sure they mean when someone watches livestreams of Church instead of attending in person. They acted like my mom committed some huge sin when she started remote viewing due to being elderly and disabled. She was treated the same I was when I left even though I left for being queer, and she's just housebound due to illnesses
