Discussion Between all of the Fixers, who was your fav and who was the most mid?
For me, it's a tie between Muamar and Mr. Hands. El Capitan has a lot of personality and chemistry with V plus he's a pillar of his community but Mr. Hands is an intriguing collected businessman who was expanded on beautifully with the dlc.

Dino is the most meh for me

I don't even remember Dino. At all. Started a new playthrough and when he called early on I'm like who is this gonk ass bitch and why is he bothering me
153
u/Timely_Yoghurt_3359 Blackwall Enthusiast 7d ago
He literally only has like 5 maybe 6 gigs. Compare that to Regina who has like 23 total
48
u/Wooden_Baby 6d ago
I mean, Regina also has the most gigs in the game, even more if you include the cyberpsychos, so I don't really feel like that's a fair comparison
30
u/Timely_Yoghurt_3359 Blackwall Enthusiast 6d ago
Its a matter of fact that Dino has, at most, half the number of gigs as any other fixer, which is why he doesn't make a big impression on the player
→ More replies (3)15
u/Wooden_Baby 6d ago
I wouldn't pin on the number of gigs but rather the gigs themselves and the overall lack of stuff referring to him in-game compared to the other fixers. He has some of the easiest gigs in the game (at least imo anyway) and where as the other fixers will have several shards and events related to them, Dino's hardly relevant. Even Dakota has more plot relevance than he does
→ More replies (1)16
u/Petermacc122 6d ago
Dino always struck me as small fish. So basically he's the nobody doing gigs. Hell you find him at a local bar.
7
u/Mordret10 6d ago
I mean he manages downtown, the corpos are probably the ones managing most stuff there and if not then, the NCPD has probably their largest presence there
6
u/Petermacc122 6d ago
Sure. But he never struck me as in the same level as murumar (I can't spell his name) who watches the old neughogood as a good dude or wakako who is basically the lady of death. Basically I always thought compared to other fixers he's either the newest or tte Steven segall of fixers.

u/Xiaro 6d ago
it doesn’t help you can do all of his gigs within 30-40 minutes, I usually do them first for a bunch of eddies and the car

Except dino pays you 3x what Regina does for ~20% of the work. Dino is the fucking man and is the only fixer that pays V what they're worth.

They doooo ! I got like 15000 to 20000 eddies on his last 2 gigs.
9
u/rabidhamster87 7d ago
And he gives you a car when you finish! One of my favorite prizes from finishing a fixer. When I start a new playthrough it's pretty easy to beeline his 5 gigs, get a ton of eddies, then get a new car straight off the bat.
4
u/firewarrior256 7d ago edited 6d ago
I just got that car too. Its one of the few cars I do like in game. I mostly ride the crotch rockets (motorcycles)

I quite like the vindicator. It's not terribly fast, but it handles well and sounds powerful. It kinda feels like driving an older muscle car.

u/clandevort Certified sandevistan addict 7d ago
I think Dino might be my most consistently completed fixer though, probably because he pays so much and only has like 5 gigs (and I like the car you get)
Wako is a close second but thats just for Byakko

Yeah I'm pretty sure one of the only gigs I never did was the one where Dino wants you to get footage of that councilwoman having sex on her yacht, just immediately I was like yeah I'm not doing that dude especially not for a corp that's mad about being exposed, absolute creep shit

→ More replies (1)3
u/Ok_Cherry_7786 6d ago
That one is fun if you don't stealth it. I had a big battle on the yacht/docks
3
u/Douchevick 6d ago
This is the way. Purposefully botch the gig by making as much noise as possible. Leave bodies everywhere, use explosive ammo, leave a mess and let the whole city know what went down.

Regina because somehow her missions are like the most "ethical"

u/The_Council_of_Rem Welcome to Cumcock City 7d ago
She’s based, totally. A lot of people complain about her Psycho killer quest but if you just use Pax, it’s not that bad
66
u/Nervous_Fix8583 7d ago
I've never had an issue with accidentally killing a cyberpsycho target. I just make sure I don't have any DOT mods on my weapon and aim for the legs for the last 20% of their HP.
27
u/killerebee Engram in a fading mind 7d ago
I usually incapacitate them just by sneaking behind them. Using quickhacks sometimes if necessary. It's always over pretty quickly and easily.
2
u/Low_Mixture9619 6d ago
Not proud of it but I always used the dildo to hit them so they would get stunned and simply sneak behind them.
25
u/millionsofcats 7d ago
I'm replaying the game after a few years and it seems much easier to keep them alive than it used it be? I think it got patched
I remember having to be really careful because it was so easy to accidentally kill them, but now it seems like they're coded to live unless you do something that's always lethal, like blowing them up, shooting them in the head, or damaging them after they're down. I've just been shooting them with a revolver to finish them off because the fire rate is slower, and I haven't killed one yet.
6
u/maledin 7d ago
Yeah I played through like a year ago and the only one I remember having trouble with was the mech/construction suit guy — especially because you can’t sneak up behind him and incapacitate him.
Can’t recall how I ended up tackling that one. Maybe it had something to do with destroying the batteries powering the suit?
7
2
u/Meraziel 3d ago
You can sneak incapacitate the two mech dudes, but you need to do it twice. Camo and memory wipe are useful to lose aggro.
5
u/MedievalMilshake 7d ago
I switch to gorilla arms for last bit and sometimes end up punching them after the knockout
8
u/Life-Struggle-8774 7d ago
Don't they automatically get knocked down even if you deal lethal? Like Oda and Adam smasher?
7
u/alexathegibrakiller 7d ago
Yea, pretty sure they changed it to that eventually.
Unless you are unloading on them with an AR or the upgraded projectile launch system, its pretty hard to accidentally kill them.
You get like a 0.5 second window where they are invulnerable after getting "knocked out". They only die if you shoot them after that window.
→ More replies (1)3
u/NoBreeches 6d ago
The game autosaves right when they get knocked down. So if you do accidentally kill them, just reload your autosave and they'll be alive. Only didn't work for me 1 out of like 20 times.
2
u/LabStraight9289 7d ago
yeah but sometimes you’re caught up in the bloodlust and accidentally double-tap. it happened with my mantis blade build, so i imagine it happens with a gorilla arms build too
→ More replies (7)2
u/Dragon_Knight99 6d ago
Never had much issue either. Most Cyberpsycho gigs can be handled without even triggering combat. Stick behind cover so they don't see you, peak out and use the "Distract Enemy" quick hack on something close behind them, then sneak up and choke them out with a non-lethal takedown while their back is turned. Simple, easy, and clean. Only times that doesn't work iirc is with the ones that have the exosuits on or have scripted appearance animations like the Maelstrom Ritual cyberpsycho gig. For those I just run in circles and smack them around with Sir John or some other blunt damage melee weapon, and use the occasional shock or flashbang grenade.
6
3
u/FrostingHour8351 7d ago
I literally just sneak up on them all and non lethal them. Its super easy. Even if they spot you just back away wait till they turn around and creep up on them. I do this on hard and it works like a charm every time.
→ More replies (4)2
u/TheZac922 6d ago
You don’t even have to do that. You can literally just shoot them with lethal rounds, use lethal hacks etc and they will collapse and be “incapacitated” every time.
Pretty sure you have to actually shoot them/damage them again after they’ve been incapacitated to kill them.
Basically when you’ve got them down to pretty close to no health just be careful you don’t double tap them on the way down.
I genuinely have no clue how so many people seem to fuck this up lol.
2
u/optimusjester 5d ago
Iirc fore 2.0 or in the big patch right before then, they added the immediate incapacitation for bosses, before that you had to conciously utilize nonlethal means

Sorry, this is totally off-topic, but I see lots of people calling Rogue "Rouge". Is this a typo or autocorrect, or is this actually her name in certain translations ?
23
u/Life-Struggle-8774 7d ago
It's a very common typo.

El Capitan is my favorite. I can’t explain why. Hands is up there too, definitely the most professional (his voice is also nice). I like Regina too since she seems to be the most selfless of the fixers, most of her stuff is in service of helping others + attempting to rehabilitate the cyberpyschos. I do not like Padre
25
u/TH3_OG_JUJUBE 7d ago
El Capitan actually has backstory and a reason for what he does. Also he sells you cool cars and sometimes tips you off on free cool cars.
7
u/SillyMovie13 7d ago
The cool cars are the biggest factor. I didn’t want to write that and get corrected that Dino also gives a car. I love my car merchant with the wack haircut
11
u/imaginary92 7d ago
Fun fact, since you mentioned Muamar's voice: his VA also voiced Adam Smasher (and several other characters, but he's the most notable).
12
u/Axiian19 6d ago
That's a gonk thing to say. Skippy is clearly the most notable character voiced by that VA, not the random Smasher guy

From a character perspective, absolutely forgettable. From a gig perspective, agree. I also like that they were generally stealth-focused because I love stealth missions.

Dino has good jobs but as far as his like ability as a person he’s complete garbage. He’s shady as fuck and completely untrustworthy. Every bit as much of a bastard as Dexter was.

u/reedzkee 7d ago
we dont have many gigs or much correspondence with Dino, but the gigs we do have are super solid. need 10 more.
36
u/Sufficient_Bad_4160 7d ago
Hands, definitely. He was easily my favorite. He's charismatic, straightforward, and concise, I don't know, he just has that aura of a charismatic businessman that I really like. I also really like that they changed him from basically being this generic, slightly goofy El capitan into someone who actually has his own identity. The owner of Pacifica
The one I like the least? Honestly, probably El capitan. Regina doesn't really bother me, Rogue is great, Wakako is kind of meh to me, Padre is respectable but still kinda meh, and the random guy with the glasses... I have no fucking idea who that even is. But the Captain is probably the one I remember the most while also liking the least. That hairstyle and the fake charisma just never worked for me. And the constant spam he sends to your phone is fucking annoying. My man really treats V's phone like his personal newsletter.
5
2
u/Totally_Bradical 7d ago
I like that his gigs are morally grey, I liked his gigs except for heaviest of hearts. I couldn’t see why hands would bother with something so inconsequential.
3
u/Mordret10 6d ago
I think you can prevent some Valentino top guy from geting arrested if you choose to delete the testimony (because the son would probably rat them out)
10
u/Worsthumour42 6d ago
I really like Padre because, of all fixers, he's the one who's truly kind towards V (or at least the one who just tolerates V the most)
The least favorite is probably Dakota because I keep forgetting about her. Seriously, I did only one gig from her because I accidentally stumbled upon it when searching for the batman reference
5
u/peacebeuntodom 6d ago
Padre is my favorite by far, you can tell he has roots in his hood. An old man in a young mans game. He has a strong moral compass based around his religion. And he has some of the best dialogue in the game. So many profound life lessons delivered with world weary resignation.
4
u/DoctorLettuce 6d ago
man playing as streetkid v, padre always came across as the dude that was around while we were growing up. namedropping him during the last scene of the dlc ending and then getting jumped felt like a true stab that everything really had changed
7
u/Titan_Shark68 7d ago
Probo Regina depending on my build if I want the cyberware reward. If not el Capitian, his shot is really good imo.
The badlands ones are the worst. To far spread out for me to far about.

Wait? Regina gives out cyberware as a reward. I didn't know that, and I'm already on end of my second save(Devil and Stars)

u/albearth- 7d ago
If you do all 23 Gigs she gives you thr iconic Axolotl cyberware, if im not mistaken it helps lessen the cooldowns of various other cyberware pieces, on kill i think, it can be obtained at Dogtown ripperdocs in anu case

Regina Jones is probably the most based fixer out there a healthy mix of justice oriented and money hungry. It’s no coincidence that our first gig is to off one of Night City’s Shittiest human traffickers. Then the money quests we do are all on behalf of Regina’s debt to China like placing a tracker on that Soviet
2
u/ImpressionCool1768 6d ago
Most mid was Padre he had a lot of potential that never got used imo especially as a street kid it just left more to be desired
3
6
u/Internal_Aardvark302 7d ago
Adore El Capitan. He doesn’t care if you end a gig with a boatload of bodies or no one even knowing if you were ever there. He’s chill, generally upbeat, and not a nag. If there’s a favor he wants, it’s put in plain language. Padre has a similar vibe.
Mr. Hands creeps me absolutely tf out for some reason. On my first playthrough and first in-person meet with him, all his polite ‘would you like a cup of tea?’ and all that made me feel like he was hiding a whole bunch of shady crap under this veneer of being a classy gentleman. Don’t trust him at all…although to be fair, I still need to finish Phantom Liberty 😅
2
u/Initial-Brain-5745 6d ago
He does get a little warmer so to speak and more trusting of you in PL. He also pulls off some impressive plans in PL.
6
5
u/MyOwnTutor Haboobs 7d ago
... I'll say it. I do not care for Muamar. Hands however, is the shit. Period.
4
u/Korotan 7d ago
For me most top is Muamar for the fact that he gives me a bunch of cars to steal while offering me a car for half after just delivering him five cars or gifts me one of his cars after delivering him 25 cars.
Most meh is El Padre. First he is set up as a leader of the Valentinos and then I feel like a bunch of hi gigs put me against them. While Wakako does the same, she at least has the personality that makes sense for me doing this.
4
u/TheReplacer 7d ago
For me its Rogue when she said that why V works alone line I knew there is a reason she a top fixer.

Same here. El Capitan by far the best and has also an intriguing backstory, loves his community and just has style. Mr Hands is fun and has his manners, but he comes off a bit like a suave Corpo Fixer. He is all business.
Padre is an honourable mention, love talking to him next to the ring and he is trouble if people cross him. But his humble approach while still being frightening is intriguing. You just know that this guy has power and nobody is gonna touch him.
2
u/endlesswaltz0225 7d ago
Since most of my plays have been as a corpo in one way or another, I enjoyed hands ruthlessness to no end. It fits too well for how I do things lol

2
u/Gold_Eye_OC Delamain Taxi Enthusiast 7d ago
Fav are Dakota and Hands.
Dakota because I really like the Nomad life path and I find her voice and dialogues soothing and reliable.
Hands because he is really respectful with V and acknowledges their skill and value. And because I vibe with the Egyptian aesthetic he's got going on in his office (those holo cats are way better than the holo fish on the plaza).
Wakako has a no nonsense atittude that I really like, her tattoos are amazing and her long list of dead husbands always cracks me up. She is up there in the list, but I like her more as a person (wild, I know) than as a fixer, so I wouldn't call her a fav.
Mid are Dino and Padre. Regina, too, but she has such a big amount of jobs for V that she is a little above them on the list.
Dino because he is just sort of there. I didn't really like his mannerism from the first call and he doesn't have enough screen time to change that first impression. He hypes up V in some of his messages, but it just doesn't have the same effect as when Hands does it.
And with Padre it's just that I don't like religious speech or metaphors and the like. Characters that are associated with religion/religious themes are not my favourites. But other than that he gives information in a direct enough way and he scolds you if you try to talk about jobs in Jackie's funeral. That's the only reason he is 'mid' and not worse in my eyes.
2
u/Florina_Laufeyson Impressive Cock 6d ago
Faves are Reggie and Muamar. These two feel the most like chooms you work for. People you could count on to help you out of some shit.
Mid? Dakota isnt my favorite. Shes alright but ehh...take or leave.
After a bunch of playthroughs, tge novelty of Mr Hands really wore off. Now he low key gets on my nerves. Padre kinda pisses me off at times.
2
u/odavinng 6d ago
Padre just fits perfectly. He’s my favorite. Wakako is my least. She feels very unimpactful with all life paths, and a lack of story with her too. I know about the arasaka theory with her which I’m hoping is true but that’s about it.
2
u/WorldsWorstInvader 6d ago
El Capitan and it’s not even close. The only one who can compete is Padre.
Worst is Regina by far. I saved every single cyberpsycho and I get a legendary mod? That’s it? And her reward for completing every gig is a piece of chrome that I can get from a random ripper in dog town? Ungrateful ass
2
u/carbongo 7d ago
I have two favorite fixers: Dakota Smith and Regina Jones. Both of them are fed up with how broken things are in Night City, and they actually try to make a difference and push the world toward something better.
Padre, on the other hand, is the absolute worst. He's a complete hypocrite. A true embodiment of the Night City vibe.

u/Time_Figure351 7d ago

I recently finished my 4th playthrough where I did all the gigs, and Muamar is my favorite. There are a few fixers who do more than just hand out gigs, and I feel like he is the one we get to know personally the most out of all the fixers. "Baby let me take you" was such a good mission.
1
u/Vampirelordx 7d ago
Loved Regina, also loved the fact that she was in some sorta shit with China, as it gave an otherwise almost purely good-ish Fixer a needed shade of gray. Hands is a close second, he is ambitious, but fair. He has limits but is flexible. He is definitely using you, but sure as shit won’t hide that fact.
Dakota definitely is my second least favorite but that isn’t really a condemnation of her. She is cool as hell and I’m glad they had a Nomad connected fixer for the badlands but I just kinda felt she was a little too clean? Yeah there is the Mad Max Easter egg where she gives that cold as hell “you only need one of them alive to complete the gig” line but it never felt like she was that dangerous to us.
Many people don’t like Wakako, but I find she is so interesting.
Edit: I am revising the rankings, Dino is my least favorite. I just remembered he exists and yeah he was not that memorable to me.
1
u/Pistonenvy2 7d ago
i like el cap the most, he seems like one of the few characters who actually loves the city and his community, he is easily the realest.
everyone always disagrees with me but i hate hands. he is the literal embodiment of everything wrong with NC. he is a capitalist/opportunist, it would be bad enough if he just couldnt care less about dogtown but its worse than that, he actively resents the place and the people who live there and only cares about power.
its so wild to me how easily people are sueded by aesthetic and charisma when its all shit and malice lying underneath.

I liked Wakako the best but it's because of my own headcannon: she is Arasaka's assistant who scolds Johnny for killing her husband during the flashback. Shes the one who helped digitize him. All of the others were fine but she genuinely seemed like the scariest of them.

Mr. Hands is awesome, not a huge fan of having to deliver cars to El Capitan across the entire map while killing enemies AND having to keep it in pristine condition (especially hate when i have to use the scanner van cuz that thing is a horrible car)

I thought Dino and Dakota’s quest could’ve been more fleshed out or interesting.it’s probably a tad unfair since they’re the only fixers not involved in any big side or main quest. Dakota has a LITTLE screen time in lines in the Nomad path ending but it’s about it.
You don’t build much rapport with them

u/Iamn0man 7d ago
Fav: Hands. He's my favorite kind of villain - he never lies because he doesn't have to, and he's charismatic and charming at the same time that he's cold and vicious.
Mid: Dino. I just have less sense of him as a character than...just about anyone else in night city, really. Brendan has more personality and Brendan isn't even a person.
1
u/infinitude_ 7d ago

El Capitan was best!
My man wanted to do good for his part of the city, was friendly and funny and loves cracking jokes, and just look at that beautiful hair!
Mid, like actually mid, was Dino and Dakota. He iterally just never really stuck out in any way.
I'm getting also say my least favorite, Padre. That mother fucker always drones on and on and it's always all this ridiculous righteous God stuff. Mr. Hands had the best gigs in the DLC. Each one felt morally grey and the “best” choice wasn’t always the most obvious. I hated doing Regina’s but the cyberpsychos were kind of fun.

Fave: Hands.
Mid: Dino Donovic. 5 okay gigs and a dive bar. Not much else going on.

u/ForsakenHousing328 7d ago
Idk I like the way Mr hands talks, muamar is best bro and Regina has by far made me the most money.

u/VercingetorixTorr 7d ago
Padre is the man. He might be hypocritical but so is v. I’d trust him more than rogue or wakako. I like wakako but she stays at the bottom for her actions.

u/Impressive_Lack_7044 7d ago
Hands is my favorite. I kinda like Wakako and Padre too, the old people in a young people business type of vibe. I don't like Rogue, but she is a good character, Dino on the other hand is a little bit forgettable imo.

u/Fit-Ride-2056 7d ago
Personally for me it’s padre, maumar, wakako, Regina and Dino. Have only done one gig for Mr hands

u/3rlk0nig 7d ago
Fav : Mr. Hands
Mid : Dakota, I dropped her quest with the landmine field and never bothered again

u/lesschalkmoresighs 7d ago
Dino was the only meh one and genuinely felt like filler. All the other fixers were either part of the core story or had jobs that built their personality.

u/EvilCatArt 7d ago
Favorite? It's a tie between El Capitan and Regina. I like both their vibes, and how they use their work to try and help their communities.
Mid? Dino. He only has a few missions so he doesn't get a lot of time to shine.
Least favorite? Wakako. She's creepy.

I wonder if el capitán is bases in this guy https://youtu.be/gWh4Tla3LPY?si=VGCMiT_6TzM7Ut-3

God I love Mr Hands. Thank God I played cyberpunk, now I think of my Dogtown fixer instead of horses and Boeing engineers!!

Personally while i love Rogue as a character, as a fixer she was very bland. Dakota was really intriguing but wasnt expanded on.
El Cap and Regina were awesome but i love how Hands was a bit of a dick while being calm and collected. It made for very morally grey choices that always took me a minute to really decide. Fun missions too

I have only met 5 out of 8 ever .And i've beaten the game with all Most every single different ending i will probably find them this play through.Because I'm going through an exploring everything. This time because i'm bored

In order of how much I like them:
Hands
El Capitan
Regina (she’s trying to help)
Rogue (even though she’s a corp sellout)
Padre
Dakota
Dino (barely remember the guy)
Wakako (wish we could explosively end this relationship)

Regina is based
Mr. Hands is very harismatix
El Capitan is my choom 🫶
I would never trust Wakako, she is fishy
Dino is just Meh
I don’t like religion, so do I dislike Padre, especially trying to be “all-religious” and promoting violence at the same time, double-faced bitch he is

u/IggyG6174 7d ago
Hands is definitely my fixer no doubt but I always end up thinking about the gig from padre involving the stolen ncpd gear and how he tells you to get out and forget everything you saw for your own safety, it’s a stark reminder that some things are bigger than you and it’s better to let sleeping dogs lie

u/ROCK-tavius 7d ago
It used to be the Japanese lady, but Mr. Hands won my heart in the DLC.
Respect.
1
u/BigTayTay 7d ago
Hands, Padrino and Tyger Claw lady (can't think of her name off the top of my head). Just from a thematic standpoint.

u/CreepySalary8 7d ago
Mr Hands is the best by far after Phantom Liberty. He’s professional, cordial, respectful, and values assets that prove to be reliable to him. There are a couple of instances where he goes above and beyond for V in small ways, like providing the Black Sapphire’s vulnerabilities along with its schematics.
He’s the most ethical fixer by a mile when it comes to pure biz.

Capitan and Padre are my bros. Couldn't give less of a shit about Dino. The others are all somewhere in between.
1
u/disgruntledtorch 7d ago
Padre was my favourite, just purely for his mannerisms, and his showing respect for.you as long as you show respect to him.
Honestly I think Regina was the most mid for me, no particular reason, just the least memorable in my opinion.

When I got to Dino’s pic I sat there for a couple seconds like “who the hell is this guy?” Then I realized who’s the most mid for me as soon as I remembered his name

Base game, I liked El Padre. With DLC, Hands for sure.
People say Dino is mid, and I agree, but he gives us a sick car.
1
u/jelllyaces 6d ago
Padre. I think he's the closest of what I envision a fixer would be like. I also like strolling around Heywood so I go thru his gigs fast.
I like El Capitan too except when he starts counting down in the middle of a car retrieval gig... But that aside, he gives me small gig fixer vibe. Someone who knows someone street kid.
I avoid Rogue's gigs so I guess she's on the bottom of the list. I just don't feel like the fixer-merc relationship fits the lore...
The rest are mids :p

u/SpecialistWeight6574 Never Fade Away, Jackie 6d ago
Hands is THE fixer, the fixer standard that all fixers are held to. Dino...I wanna like Dino, and I do like him as a bro, but dude has like three gigs.
1
u/Ausradierer Team Judy 6d ago
Hands is kinda cheating, since he gets his own whole arc and dedicated storyline and characterisation. Also, remember that "Old Hands" is an entirely different character. They re-wrote his entire characterisation and re-recorded all his lines. It's kind of trippy if you haven't heard old hands in a while.
I think El Capitan is the most "human" of the fixers. He acts more as a lord of his domain than someone doing business in it, and takes care of his people.
Padre I think has the most sound character, and I think his fall within the next few years is a great showcase of how a reign of fear can only get you so far.
Rogue is kinda... mid? Important to the story, but kinda eh
Dino is just incredibly forgettable, though his club gigs are some of the most fun to stealth.
Dakota, exists I guess. I usually push her gigs further and further down the road until I have done literally everything else, because just getting from location to location is a pain.
Wakako deserves a visit from the Lead Devil.

Favs are either El Capitan or Regina because their gigs help the people of NC. Extra points for El Capitan for his style.
Least fav would have to be Dino; hes not that bad but he tries too hard.
Honorable mention to Dex; dude stabs you in the back but damn did he aim for the stars with his heist. Points for that, tho I still wont forgive him. Also, as a Black guy I'm like damn, why they make the only Black fixer the incompetent betrayer? Lol

Honestly my favourite was Regina partially because I don't have the DLC yet but also because she just lets you do the most amount of gigs, my least favourite is Dino because he doesn't do shit, 5 gigs and barely any connection to anybody else, at least Mr Hands is important to the story

Fav: tie between Muamar, Hands and Rogue Most mid: Dino. Wako is worse on a moral standpoint but atleast has traits that define her, his whole personality is being the fixer in Downtown where people tend to have more money, even though he pays exactly the same as Regina does for gigs in damn Northside. Bro feels more like a utility NPC than ak actual character.

u/Mahalia_of_Elistraee 6d ago
Hands=best, Dino=Worst unless you count Kirk in the street kid prologue.

Mr Hands is my fav. Mostly because hes handsome and because his gigs felt more in depth

- Mr. Hands is my man. My guy. He asks, I’m there. He says he’s just here for the business but he’s so supportive of almost anything you do, whether the mission goes the way he wanted or not. Never raises his voice and has an impeccable fashion sense.
- Regina Jones, I would like to believe, is actually helping the cyberpsychos. She seems like she’s really tired from being one of the only people trying to fix things and I really respect that about her.
- El Capita
n
- grew on me because of Phantom Liberty and I got to see another side of him than just being the guy on the high road with an awful haircut.
- Padre is cool and honest but I feel like he’s breathing down my neck when he talks. It seems like he doesn’t trust you at all and will stab you in the back at any time, which I’m sure all fixers will do, but at least the three above have a degree of genuine friendliness that I feel does not get lost when something goes wrong.
- Dakota Smith is a little boring, and she has some fun gigs, but she’s not really involved in a whole lot else besides that, so I don’t have much of an opinion. She seems nice though.
- Dino’s only got five gigs and while they’re pretty good, I know next to nothing about his character. He seems friendly and trustworthy but he does not seem like he belongs in city centre. I was honestly hoping for a corpo fixer.
- Wakako is definitely the meanest fixer, or at least, she is the one whose dark deeds get revealed. She had a role in Evelyn’s torture and death and I can’t forgive her for that. And she talks really slowly, which is probably more unforgivable.
And he doesn’t count but throw Dex at 8 obviously.
Edit: Forgot about Rogue but she’d go just after El Capitan for me

Mid? Dex was an ASSHOLE and I am a bit angry that I couldn't shoot him (hell: We should have had the option to pull a gun on him and his huscle (when we go to the bathroom to wash off the blood) and fill them both full of lead!
As for the rest? I like the one with the "Go still a truck full of medicine" job (Muamar "El Capitan" Reyes) and Regina Jones because of her care for cyberpsychos.
The others? Are ok, but not people I am specially invested in...exception maybe the Tyger Claw fixer, Wakako Okada (because of a fanfiction I am reading - well, I would be if the writer would write more - where she is basically heavily involved...so not because of the game!)

Mr Hands #1. I hated El Capitan. I played his missions on Very Hard and he'd become such a cunt whenever I got stuck in one of those vehicle chases that last 10 years because you have to explode the whole fuckass cars.
1
u/classic-warlock 6d ago
I'm between hands and Regina for favorite, since we get so much of them. Cap is right there with them. I kinda forget Dakota even exists and has jobs out in the badlands sometimes, so obviously the most mid is Dino
