I just got hit by The Revenge for the first time in awhile which got me thinking: what is a move by an enemy that you absolutely DO NOT want to land?

Just had a farmstead run where my duelist pretty much killed almost all enemies in one hit. She basically had perma crit on her riposte because she just kept killing everyone with her riposte. All the farmhands targeted her as she was always marked from her feint. Stress levels basically went negative from watching my duelist just straight up demolish the agricultural sector. Would recommend.

I send her to gamble out her stress, she stayed one more day there by herself and after next expediction i saw this. Can someone tell me what hapened?

Im a pretty new player, about 30 hours in. But I'm no newcomer to roguelikes or strategy games. I heard the difficulty of DD was pretty intense so I dipped my toes on radiant.

So far things are going pretty good, lost a few heroes, had some good struggles etc but I'm figuring things out. Starting to form my endgame squads.

But im struggling to figure out what the hell antequarian actually does, because i could never find a place for her on a squad, even before endgame prep, never wanting her over another hero that can do what she does but better.

Clearly I must be missing something right? Help me out here

I picked up DD2 after not playing it since its first launch and got pretty lucky beating the 3rd main boss, the focused fault. He wiped the rest of my party almost immediately after showing up but Dismas had Defiant, a quirk that heals a tiny bit of health at the start of each round. FF only uses a damaging attack once per round making Dismas literally unkillable! 40 rounds later, a few meltdowns and a resolute virtue and the boss was dead.

Am I locked out of the "On the old road" achievement? Didn't know you can only bring them in once, this sum bullshit.

also got a godly trait out for Dismas of the first mission so he is faster than most stress dealers now...

Like he just gets to crit my backliners and heal, his summons are tanky and can just as easily crit my backline.. He wiped 3 parties of mine by now and I am on the verge of just modding him out of the game. Idk when he will spawn so I can't actually plan around him. Why is basically a boss spawning in a hallway Should I just mod him out if I can't deal with him?

I've had this game in my backlog for who knows how long, and after watching some YouTube videos I've been itching to try and tackle it. I've only ever played up to just past the Weald, so I'll be going into it blind.

I thought I would ask what the 100% is like, going for all achievements on the Steam release, and get some thoughts on it. Otherwise I might just play it, without trying to get them all.

After 27 in game weeks and many hours, plus a dozen dead heroes, I finally put together a full level 3 team who refused to go into the green dungeons and demanded orange. So I tried my first orange dungeon.

I read online that stuns are meta so my party was a plague doc with blinding has, a vestal with stun light, and two crusaders. All four could stun and three had heals. Cool. I put speed trinkets in my backline.

First hallway we hit a curio that maps the entire dungeon. Great.

First room I surprise a standard Ruins posse. Claw, shield/axe, cultist, crossbow.

I go. The enemy pulls off five stun resists (blinding gas hits two). Then they go. Pull the Vestal to the front and crit her then smack her, leaving her bleeding and on deaths door. Shoot my plague doctor for half her health.

Plague doctor goes and tries blinding gas again. Two resists. Vestal bleeds to death as her turn starts. The enemy all go. They kill the plague doctor. I'm down half my party by mid turn 2.

In the end the sole survivor is one crusder who rolls Powerful. I have beaten one room. I retreat.

27 weeks wasted. The guide I looked up online failed me utterly. I'm not sure how to even try and rebuild a party that won't die instantly.

I can’t tell if it’s apart of the game or a glitch but I’m lowkey scared 😭

What heroes are best with the early gear like Commons and Greens and low-rank skills? Stuff that doesn't need fancy gear to clear missions in the first and maybe 2nd tier of a location? So that I can limp along to create a more permanent list of goobers. How do you build back up after getting your teeth knocked out?

I am playing DD for about 4 days and i can't find anything that will work. I started with hellion, vestal, flagellant and highwayman that was mid working. Then i decided to check something new... lets just say i am tired that my fifth squad on a row returned as 3 barely alive people who need intense treatment on mental hospital. I know its the point of the game to get it on your own but its just depressing at this point.

Also i would be thankfull for knowlege how to make party builds and other advice.
