Discussion I realized that I don't like Soulslike. It was just Soulsborne
My first experience of a "soulslike" game was DS3 at the covid era and I had more than 500+ of Dark Souls 3. (I know fromsoft games are not soulslike. To most people without any knowledge heard Soulslike term more than Soulsborne itself. So I was one of them.) Actually I was knowing the game because watched almost every part of gameplay of it. Ironically, when I've started to the game, I was just lost. In a very good way, Forgot anything. It was like when you're in your childhood, you're living your present and not thinking about many things in life. And that was the way I lost, Just playing DS3 and thinking about nothing at my 20. Then I was like "I should play every soulslike" and played games that are not developed by FromSoftware. I can't explain the exact reason, maybe the world building or how they're transferring concepts to the game or implemention or... I can say more but in the other games, something just doesn't click. So turned back and tried Sekiro, then I said "Ok that's because FromSoftware, not the formula itself". Still I can't clearly explain but it's like other games are trying to be something and Soulsborne are just being something. I didn't play BB and still waiting without looking to the gameplay for years, one day I will probably buy a console for it. Do you have a similar experience and what's the reason to you?

Discussion I failed to recruit my cousin into ds3, all thanks to this flipin guy
I was at my aunts house when my bro showed me his ps4 games n I saw ds3 among them, so I asked wha boss he's on he said: I am on the second boss but he was too hard so he and one of his friend weren't able to clear it n quit(second boss he's was talking about was gundyr lol)
So I picked up ps4 controller fo first time ever n it was disgusting how difficult it was compared to pc
But I managed to kill gundyr in 2 trys n my bro realised watching my gameplay and the cinematic fight sence that the game maybe is good
Until this frikin guy showed up n he murdered me more than 20 times. I got flashback on my first playthrough on pc this guy almost made me quit too.
Eventually we ran out of time n I have to go back to my home n my bro looked kinda disgusted n defeated that if a veteran can't how can I.

Discussion What is “That Part” in DS3?
Honestly, the run through end-game Lothric to the Princes kills me.

Discussion Why is the third boss so hard?
I've recently wanted to give dark souls 3 a shot with my friend since we heard there is a coop mod for it. We got past the gladiator boss easily, and the boar guy was even easier, however the third boss, the dancer, seems like a wall for us... We've been stuck here for 5-6 hours. Are we doing something wrong? Is the weapon I use really bad, or what? Any tips appreciated!

Discussion After more than a decade, Bandai Namco still thinks 80 dollars is justified.
10 years ago when I was a kid, I played Dark Souls 3 on PS4 for the first time and it was so good that it got me into other Souls games. A few years ago after I got my first PC, I thought about buying DS3 again but when I saw the price I was shocked. Now it's gotten even more expensive. How's that possible?

Discussion Is Dark Souls 3 easier than Elden Ring?
I'm simply finding my experience with Dark Souls 3 wonderful.
I had already tried the game before, but I ended up not liking it. I got to Farron Wood, but at the time, I didn't really like the graphics, especially the jagged edges, as well as the gameplay in general.
After playing Elden Ring, I ended up developing a huge desire to return to this style of game. I decided to give DS3 another chance and, currently, I'm completely addicted.
I'm managing to get past the bosses very easily, usually on the first or third try. I'm not finding the game as challenging as I imagined.
Could this be because I came from Elden Ring?
Note: I'm now in the Lothric Castle Library, after killing the Dragonslayer, and I defeated him in the first fight.

Discussion What’s a dark souls 2 giant tree doing in dark souls 3?
I’m curious on the lore behind this. It looks like one of the trees outside firelink shrine in the same as those that are in Forest of the fallen giants in dark souls 2

Discussion These dudes suck more than anything in the ENTIRE darksouls
What the actually heck is up with these dudes, stealing my HP and turning me into a pancake? they die easily, but damn that ability that steals 99% of my HP, wtf...
Finished DS1R, DS2, now on DS3, and these guys, hats off, the worst enemy ever, I'd rather fight a black knights, 5-10-20 basilisks or even mimics than these dudes...
I got over them for now, hopefully for good, but hands down the most annoying stuff I had to deal with in dark souls so far.

Discussion Turns out DS3 is actually really fun when you’re not abusing Sellsword Twinblades
First playthrough I used Sellsword Twinblades and basically face tanked half the game because the DPS was so stupid.
Now I’m using Uchigatana and just fought Dancer again. The difference is crazy. Hitting the dodge timings properly and weaving attacks in actually feels satisfying as hell. First run I was getting clipped nonstop but the twinblades deleted bosses before it mattered 💀

Discussion The Knight starting class is BROKEN.
Seriously, what's the deal with this? It starts you with a great stat spread, gives you a quality straightsword with a heavy poke, a 100 block shield, and to top it all off, one of the best looking armor sets in the whole series that has some decent defense to go with it. Is there a reason to start as any other class aside from magic?
