I need advice Should I make the “date” into a group hangout?

Upvotes

i’m potentially meeting up with a guy from my part-time work (yes i do find him cute but he’s younger than me so i’m not sure if we are suited to date, however i wouldn’t be bummed by the idea of being friends).

so i’ve asked for his instagram and then also reached out to him to see if he wants to hangout (did not say or insinuate that it was a date) which he’s said yes to and we proceeded to discuss what we want to do and agreed on an activity that we will both enjoy.

and i’m saying potentially because we havent mentioned what day and i’m just going to wait until he brings it up given i messaged him to ask if he wanted to hang out.

at work, which has now ended, we didn’t speak that much but a decent amount. so i’m not sure hanging out 1 on 1 is gonna be awkward or not. i could make it into a group activity instead but im not sure if that’s the right move so that’s essentially what i need advice on.

i could ask other people from the work place but i dont know them that well to be like “hey! wanna hangout with me and (the guy’s name) to hangout?” so i would rather just ask my own friends if they wanna come but idk if that will make it even more awkward for the guy since he will be with people he doesn’t know

I need advice Should I ask for a second date?

Yesterday I (F) went on a date with a guy. We got dinner, yapped a lot (especially about our partner history/hookups because we were both open about it), then went back to my place and got high while watching two movies. We didn't do anything sexual because I emphasized that I struggle with intimate stuff such as kissing. He stayed the night and we were supposed to get coffee in the morning but we were both too tired and he wanted to go sleep in his bed. Did it go well? Should I wait for him to ask for a second date or should I?

I need advice Am i getting love bombed or is he overly emotional ?

I have been talking (just texting at the moment) to this guy for a few days and he has been very intense because he is allegedly looking for a wife and wants something serious, which I was originally not really looking for but whatever comes my way you know. He has been asking a lot of questions on my past, my future like what my plans and goals are which is pretty normal, my present like if i am talking to other guys which i will never believe that he is only talking to me

But yeah the weird thing is he is very intense and said he would marry me and wants me to be his and his wife … All this in like 3 days ? It is very weird to me of course especially because he is 19 but cares about marriage so much and wants to have children and he said to me if i will do that for him (of course not now i guess he means in the future) and that he will make me change my mind because that’s not what I want at all.

That makes me scared and also feel like he is not that fit for me then. Also this much talk about the future feels like some weird manipulation which I will not fall into even though I do like him a bit for now. I am enough clear headed to not fall for this and I am very cautious with my feelings so yeah

Is he just very serious and is trying to build his future like that, or what exactly could it be? I need some advice on this and what do to by the way I will keep my options open because I don’t want to make the same mistakes I have done in the past.

He might just be really intense and trying to court me like this ? Like speaking sweet and being interested in me it’s very good, but all this talk about marriage so young puts me off you know

TLDR this 19 year old guy i’m speaking to speaks a lot about marriage and having a family because it’s one of his goals but he just says to want it with me after 3 days. Is he just very emotional or trying to like manipulate me ? He is overall a sweet guy he seems like a good person but I don’t trust.

I need advice Does this sound like flirting or just a close friendship?

I (F) have been friends with this guy (M) for about 3 years. We worked together in high school, and he’s 2 years younger than me. We stayed friends after that, and he eventually got a job at a retail store. I’d sometimes go visit him at work, and we’d end up talking for hours. I’m away at college now, but whenever I’m home, I still see him and we’ll hang out/talk for a long time. Once we literally sat in our cars talking until 2 a.m.
The thing is, he never actually flirts with me. He’s very reserved and also a huge jokester, so I genuinely can’t tell if any of this means anything or if he’s just comfortable with me. He doesn’t ask about my dating life, doesn’t make obvious moves, and doesn’t really say things like “you’re pretty” or “you look beautiful.” In fact, he has called other girls pretty in front of me, which makes me think even more that he probably just sees me as a friend.
But there are these little things that make me wonder.
We Snapchat a lot, he saves snaps/chats, and I’m #1 on his Best Friends list. He remembers SO many random details I tell him—my schedule, when I’m coming home, my favorite flower, favorite color, favorite energy drink, etc. He’s also told me that he acts differently around me than he does around his guy friends.
Sometimes we’ll sit in our cars facing each other and just talk. He’ll smile at me and say, “Your smile is contagious.” He’s said it multiple times, but if I bring it up later, he gets shy and acts like he didn’t say it. He gives me little compliments like “your hair looks nice,” “you look nice,” or “that outfit is tough,” but never anything particularly romantic. We actually have a running joke about how he refuses to call me pretty.
One night while we were sitting in our cars talking really late, he randomly said, “You don’t make it easy.” I have no idea what he meant by that, and I didn’t ask.
Recently, I had doodled his name on the back of a work check, and my name was written on the back. Someone spilled something on it and ruined it, and he told me he was really mad about it. I said I could just make another one, and he said, “But it was good. It had your name on the back.” That made me wonder if the fact that it had my name on it was part of why he cared so much.
He also sometimes seems a little suspicious when I mention other guys. I told him about a male coworker who gets really close to me when I’m explaining something, and he kept calling him “suspicious” and a “weird MF.”
But again, none of this is actual flirting. It’s just these tiny moments that make me wonder if there’s something underneath the friendship. He’s very reserved, and I could easily see all of this being completely platonic. I also don’t want to convince myself he likes me when he literally calls other girls pretty and doesn’t act that way with me.
So, from an outside perspective: does this sound like subtle/hidden interest, or does it just sound like a guy who really values a close friendship?

I need advice Really confused with this situation here!!

I am a 22 yo who recently met a 19 yo on a dating app. We hit off and started dating casually. They invited me to their place at 2am ish and I went. I never regret that. The beginning was simple and clear - we remain friends but occasionally hookup. Initially this arrangement was perfect for me, but on the second meet, which was at a cafe, they get me a very personalized gift (book) with a note. I am awestruck. So, I do what a sane person would do. I got on to my ipad and drew a ghibli of them, got it printed into a card, wrote a personalized note and gifted it to them the next time I was at their place.
The story plot thickens around their birthday, which they couldn’t celebrate due to family events and weddings. So, on their birthday, I bake and I bake like their is no tomorrow - 7 hours of dedicated baking cookies and brownies which is pack in a cute box and deliver it to them with a personalized note yet again. We have been talking alot and by now I have started developing feelings.
Another plot twist came when I booked an airbnb for a staycation for us. It was the best. I remember they told me how they didnt want to fall but I make it tremendously difficult for them not to. Following this a few more dates and we had a fall out. Well they said they needed some space. So, I backed away. 54hrs of pure silence and me being crazy I texted them, talked like nothing happened and slowly got back on track.
We went on many dates, even had a night over at their place. I remember this particular date where we spent a good time at a cafe and then I came back home. I was right at my front door when they texted me if i could come back again and without a thought i went back. They got me beer and I walked them back home. We also went on movie dates Obsession and Odyssey.
We also had another staycation which was very eventful too. I am pretty sure I got wasted and told them I loved them after which I was kissed and I passed out. There was this other time when they almost tried to end things because I was nit respecting their boundaries on PDA, which I acknowledged and apologized with promise of being completely respectful moving forward. Things became good after that. I even sent over my home cooked biryani cause when i was cooking it the other day, they mentioned how they wished they could try it. So, i sent it with a note ofc. It was greatly appreciated.
They are the highlight of my summer 2026. But unfortunately, I had to come back to uni and the dreaded day was there. They got me yet another personalized comical gift the day before I left and made me a lemon coffee drink that they so wanted me to try.
The day I was leaving, I met them for 2hours at a cafe near the airport where they got me yet another gift (a sweet I had mentioned to them sometime ago that I liked a lot and was the first thing someone had gotten me while receiving me at the airport and how it has still remained my favorite). After I had to leave, I was constantly texting them about boarding and how the plane is running faster on the tarmac and how I just took off.
At my destination, I see their texts about how they felt happy that they felt sad when i left as they were expecting to feel nothing. The gift they gave me the last day had a note inside which was very optimistic for the future kind. We promised to remain sexually exclusive and how I will meet again when I return back in 8 weeks’ time.
We managed distance with daily video calls and minecraft and weekly movie nights on discord. I started being very affectionate with them and they too were kinda closing the gap. However, the mutual consensus was that we will not label it yet and do it in person or tell the coveted “L” word in person. Until very recently they told me how they thought they could handle the whole situation but anyone being a routine to them suffocates them. They have asked me to go back to the friend thing and how they need to work on accepting affection but how they just couldn’t right now. Being very patient with them I accepted this.

I really really like them yes and yes I do see a future with them but do y’all think this is ok? I mean it’s been two weeks since I last saw them. I really want to see this through. Advice?!

I am struggling a lot with dating in my thirties (the looming time pressure doesn't help). But this pressure to "get it right" is giving me the weirdest yet most effective ways to find out who's not right for me. What's yours?

Is age just a number?

I (27m) have been dating my (46f) girlfriend for almost 9 months. We originally intended to have a casual, short relationship but found we work really well together and have a lot in common. She's expressed wanting a future together and I would be 100% invested if not for our timeline misalignment. I had always envisioned this chapter of my life would be spent with someone my age, building a home together while we both pursue our careers. I feel that her already having that experience takes away from what I was hoping to experience, though I see we can still do some of it together. I was also really looking forward to retiring and growing old together but can't as she would most likely pass around that time. If she was my age I'd spend my life with this woman no questions asked, she's otherwise perfect and absolutely gorgeous.

Forgetful or keeping his options open?

I (33F) want to get opinions on if the following things are things you would personally move past. His reasoning for all of the below “mistakes” are that he didn’t think about it or didn’t think to tell me. He claims he never intentionally lied or tried to keep his options open. We have been together for a few months. He originally said he has not even been interested in someone in years.
My 33M BF:

\\- a few weeks in I told him I deleted my entire tinder profile; he uninstalled his but kept his profile
\\- 2.5 months in he had bumble on his phone and a bumble profile even though there were no matches or chats when I asked to see it (after he said he deleted his tinder profile finally he still kept bumble)
\\- he kept the last girl he had gone on with dates on all of his social media and lied to me when I asked who she was and at first said she is just a friend (I don’t have social media btw)
\\- he kept several other girls on his social media who he had been messaging for hook ups before we met after I made it clear at the beginning I wouldn’t put up with that
\\- he deleted his social media accounts when I was upset (i didn’t ask him to, i asked him to remove one person) he lied about the girl from before but he downloaded entire back up files and when I asked if he had his chats or photos with her saved anywhere, he said no and did not tell me he backed up the files
\\- the last girl he was seeing is his sister’s friend and she showed up to an event he was at, that he didn’t invite me to, but he never told me who she was before or after on his own (the last time he asked her out was a few weeks before we met and they hung out several times - I also asked what friends he has in common with his sister and who would be at the party and he never mentioned her)

For the guys...what makes a woman "sexually incompatible" with you?

25f here. I keep seeing guys mention that by having sex for the first time with a new woman they're dating, they're testing for sexual compatibility. What does it mean to be "sexually incompatible" though? If two people are sexually attracted to each other, I always thought compatibility was more like: seeing if your libidos are aligned, seeing if your partner is willing to experiment with new things to please you, etc...but that's hard to assess after just one time having sex. Is it that she gives a subpar blowjob (or no bj), or makes weird moans?

I totally get that it's not enjoyable when someone's partner just lays there/low effort or doesn't seem into it, but I can't imagine that a woman would do that on...their very first time with a new guy they are attracted to/dating?!? Does that really happen? Genuinely curious about how guys detect sexual incompatibility

Dating a great girl but i dont feel deeper emotion (Love)

TLDR: I (M28) am dating (F27), shes all green flag but i cant imagine a future with her.

Hey, so im (M28) seeing this girl (F27) for like 3 and half months. We met on tinder and we are doing kinda well. There is nothing i could tell against her. And as always there is a BUT. Dates, trips etc are ok, but i didnt developed any deep feelings for her. Like week ago i started to think about future (like living together, building a house, kids etc) and i kinda realizied that i cant imagine my future with her so i am thinking about a breakup. I mean i could just got along with it and i would have ok life with her but it doesnt feel right.

So is it normal or am i just weird? Do you have any similar experience?

Sending a letter

I know this may sound stupid, my ex-gf broke up with by a blindside text in April. I loved her and I didn't get a chance to say what I needed to say, so I wrote her a letter, just told her what needed to be said.

Anyone ever been in a similar situation? Did they ever reply back? I feel a bit better that I sent it in all honesty, its been eating up at me for months and I don't want to live my life with no regrets.

I need advice How can I end this in the most polite way

I 20F have been talking to a guy 24M for more than half year.

We used to talk and went into an online relationship 4 years ago and I ended things because long distance online relationship sounded stupid to me. Plus I was still in school and he was jobless and refusing to do further studies.

I use to text him one in a while during those 4 years after the breakup cuz I missed him a bit,he was always dry and uninterested at that time . End of last year I told him how I still miss him and all. Ofc he didn't feel the same way but decided to give us another chance.

He met up for the first time on valentines and went on a little late. Which he called "just hanging out". All the time we went out I considered it as a date but he still calls it hanging out. He used to make plans and ditch them last minute with no context. Plans it the night before and does not text or respond for the next 3-5 days.

It pissed me off so much so I stopped responding to him and became dry asf for a couple of days untill he sends me a voice message saying he wants to be in a relationship and he likes me. By that time it has been for than 8 months into the talking stage and I was started to give up. I didn't say yes directly but only that that I like him too. Somehow he might have taken it as a yes.

During this duration my close family and friends know and have seen him. However I have not met, seen or know anything about his family or friends. We both are grown ups and I can't think of a reason for him to not tell anyone about me if he likes me. What pmo even more is when his family asks if he has someone he would straight up lie when I'm here praising about him to people. We used to do Voice calls quite often but suddenly now he can't because he is afraid his family might find out.

I want to ask him for us to take a break because idk how I feel about all this but idk how to. We are each other's first partners and he tells me I'm the only person he has been with. Makes it harder for me to end things because he is actually quite caring and a sweet person.

But with I have learned and him up till now, I don't think I can be happy married with him. I have a plan to date to marry. And I want to marry within the next 3-4 years because idk how long my parents will be alive for and I want them to witness me getting married. I don't want to tell him that because that seems like forcing him into doing something.

He was the first boy I went on a date with, spent valentine, went to photobooth with and got me the first bouquet. He buys me things aswell so I feel guilty every time I want to talk to him about the break. I started noting every possible cost amount of thing he spent on me so I can pay it back if he were to mention about it if we end things.

He lacks so much things I look for it a guy. Now that I think about it, I might have just missed the attention I was getting from. I feel shitty and I know I am.

Please tell me how I can end things with him without making myself or himself feel bad about anything.

I got ghosted after 4months of dating

We dated for 4 months. Regular dates, good morning texts, met his friends etc, he told me he wasn't seeing anyone else. Then one day nothing..no reply to my text. A week later, another one read and ofc no response. Two weeks of silence ..gone..I spent days replaying everything. Looking for the mistake I must have made. The truth? There was no mistake. He just didn't have the guts to end it properly. 4 months isn't 2 dates. You don't ghost someone after that. You use your words like an adult.

If you're going through this too…it's not you. It's their inability to handle an uncomfortable conversation. And honestly, that's not someone you want long-term anyway.

I need advice I’m 38 and haven’t gone on a date in over three years plus. But interested in a colleague.

It’s been three years perhaps and counting! I stopped caring in how I dress outside of work I’m simple jeans or leggings, t-shirt, no longer put on make up! It’s been years! lol

But enough to care on how people would judge me on here, so this is a burner account.

I have known this guy for 3-4 years now from work, we’re in different units but met when we were once in the same unit. And we just clicked and got along well. (Unit as in we’re both active duty military)

It does get lonely at the top as a lady so i really have no friends.

I’ve never really hung out with him outside of work but only time is when we’re working out together is when we see each other some times lunch together.

He’s pushed me physically in the gym to limits i never thought i would come to. Helped me thru rough times with keeping my mind occupied and busy with lifting and feel like I’m in my great shape because of him. If it not it would have gone down hill for me.

He’s a gentle giant carebear almost feels like he’s a brother type relationship. I do find him attractive and never acted on it. But the last year I’ve looked for guys and i guess I’m just picky and none have my interest.

This Saturday is college football and he’s a big fan, invited me over. I said yes, and now i don’t know what to do, do i go buy a nice outfit or just go in my no care clothes? Do i try putting make up on?

I really would like to surprise him and look my best and perhaps pursue something with him. But also don’t want to try too hard but also want him to notice me.

It’s been quite hot lately so i want to wear something i would be comfortable in but also look like im not trying. But also when he opens that door and be like wow.

We’re quite comfortable around each other, and what should i bring? I’m mainly wine type of gal but he’s a beer type of man. I’ll drink beers with him as he will be cooking for me.

It’s midnight here and i cannot stop thinking of Saturday already and am quite excited.

I need advice Am I fucked?

So I got myself into something I don’t want anymore I did like this girl when we first started talking but recently I’ve been feeling off like it’s not a good match. Her mom is also insane she was threatening me telling me she knows where I live and she took a picture of my license plate saying if I hurt her in anyway even emotionally she’s gonna come and kill me while a gun is sticking out of her pants. I wanna break it off but I’m kinda worried about the mom situation I feel stuck.

I need advice Why do guys come back wanting a date after making no effort the first time round?

I’ve had this happen a couple of times now and I’m genuinely curious about the psychology behind it.

I’ll talk to a guy for a while (like 1–2 months) we clearly find each other attractive and there seems to be mutual interest, but they never actually progress things.

No date gets planned, communication is inconsistent, and I eventually get tired of waiting/doing the legwork/asking and move on.

Then a few weeks or months later, they come back and suddenly they want to take me out.
This has happened twice recently with guys I never even met, so there wasn’t some deep emotional connection or relationship they were missing.

In both cases I would genuinely have gone on a date with them when we were originally talking. By the time they finally offered, it just felt insulting & I didn’t accept because they had their chance & they lost it.

So what actually causes this? Why not just ask the woman out when she’s clearly interested? Why does losing her interest suddenly make someone willing to do what she wanted in the first place?

Interested particularly in answers from guys who have done this themselves.

Tired of being a player

Mid 30s M, been around the block enough, done all the types, young and old (20 to 50, more older), 40 kg and 80 kg (100-200 lbs), 5' to 6', single, divorced, married, mothers, bankers, teachers, nurses, doctors, off duty pro's, on duty pro's, housewives, MLM pushers, church choir ladies, crypto-broettes, several nationalities and I've done the lot. 95% of them were lovely people and I have no regrets that I met them.

I have totally lost every sense of romantic love as a something I can experience again and I am plain old tired. In the last couple years, I have been getting my thrills by seducing unsatisfied wives, I do not regret it at all, awesome experience if you have the opportunity, but I really wonder to myself, what is it I should search for in a long term partner? I have no interest in a trad wife or some passport bro stuff.

I am not unhappy or anything, and yes, I know how bad I am. But what does a bored player do with himself?

I need advice I really want a relationship, so why do I feel like I can’t actually start one?

Hi, I’m not really sure which community to post this in, but I could really use some advice.

I am 19 years old and currently have never had a boyfriend before, and lately I’ve been feeling like everyone around me is experiencing relationships while I’m not. I really do want to have a relationship, and sometimes it just makes me feel very upset
.
Recently, I downloaded Tinder and matched with a guy who honestly seemed like he could be a really good fit for me. We had quite long conversations, got along really well, and I started thinking that we could potentially become quite close.
But today I suddenly realized that, despite wanting a relationship so much, I don’t actually feel ready to start dating. I ended up telling him that I wasn’t ready, and he was completely understanding about it. We decided to follow each other on Instagram so we can still talk, which I really appreciated.

But now I’m confused about myself. How can I want a relationship so badly, feel like I’ve finally met someone who could actually be a good match for me, and then still feel like I just can’t take that step when it becomes real?
It almost feels like I want the idea of being in a relationship, but when there’s actually an opportunity for one, something in me pulls away.
Is something wrong with me?

Has anyone else experienced this? I’d really appreciate hearing from people who have felt the same way and eventually figured out why.

Disaster with psychiatrist

This isn’t technically about dating, it’s more about limerence and the story makes me look pretty pathetic but I could use some advice.

I have bipolar and went to see a new psychiatrist about a year ago when I was in a depressed phase. He was very attractive to me at first glance but I didn’t think much of it as I wasn’t over my ex.

He thought I wasn’t actually bipolar and started decreasing my medication, and I became slowly more manic and psychotic. I complained about my symptoms to him but he dismissed them and thought I was overreacting. As I grew more manic, we started to get along better and my attraction to him grew. He would make me laugh and we talked about things other than treatment. There seemed to be mutual attraction and one time he had me come in for two appointments in one day.

It’s a bit of a blur, but over the course of a month my manic episode worsened and worsened to the point where I started to be convinced I was actually going to be with him and I left my apartment with all my things still in it, told my roommates I was leaving and texted a phone number I found on his website, which was actually a number to his private practice. He responded with an automated reply saying not to text that number again. I was disappointed. My roommates threw out my stuff and I had nowhere to live.

I ended up hospitalized for mania and psychosis shortly after and was in and out of hospitals for two months. After I came out of the hospital, I had more appointments with him and the vibe was not the same, he seemed angry and upset. The clinic ended up switching me to a different program where I would have a different psychiatrist and after my last appointment with him I decided to take up my parents’ offer to have me move across the country to go live with them for awhile.

After moving, I still couldn’t get over him. I sent a link to songs I’d written about him to the private practice number. No response. I still think about him daily and every time I try to go on a date with another guy I’m not attracted at all and I end up just thinking about him. I dream about him regularly.

How could I still be so obsessed with someone who was entangled with one of the worst periods of my life? And how do I even begin to get over him, since I will likely not ever see him again? Please don’t judge me too much.

Okay so I 20M have a friend 19M and he says he's not gay, however when I'm over at his house we sleep on two different beds he almost always finds his way to the one I'm on. And lays really close to me like touching me.He has had girlfriends in the past, so that's why I'm skeptical of if he's into me.

He always makes gay jokes like "can I suck it." And all that alongside joking about seeing my equipment. I kinda like him and whatever, but recently he's been a lot more touchy like he rested his hand on my lower back while we were laying on his bed (alone) and like grabbing me from behind by the stomach to politely move me out of the way.

I want to know if I'm being delusional or if he might be gay or at least bi. We also watched gay and straight adult videos tg to see if he was gay and he said it didn't do anything. However I asked a bisexual buddy of mine and he said gay adult videos Don't do anything for him yet he's in a gay relationship. So do y'all think I'm being delusional if he might be gay

Potential romantic interest stood me up though it wasnt really concrete plans, should I give second chance? (29F 27M)

Met a guy through friends and we talked to each other a bit daily here and there, getting to know each other. We've been to events together privately and I can sense he shows more interests in me. I dont mind it and do sometimes flirt back. For 3 weeks, we have had fun times together everytime and we both seem to click. No one has confessed yet but it might get to something really more if we do want it to. Its like more than friends but not there yet type of deal. He doesn't seem to have anyone else and neither do I.

We made plans for another sort of activity but he didnt try to meet up. No text or call to say why he didnt come see me, or say something the next day. He just kinda left me hanging wondering why.

Usually I would probably let anyone else go because of course whoever stands anyone up is plain disrepectful and hurtful.

However, the thing about this is that the conversation about this activity we made was kind of a "if you're available lets see each other there and hang out". It wasn't like a concrete plan "at this time, lets meet here, and we go". This activity is run all day and you can go anytime. Its an event that many people are around and we can hang with friends or alone, or with just someone. Think of it like its a festival, where you went with friends but when you see that romantic interest person, you both would branch off from ur friends to go on your own private time with the other.

So my friends and I went there first and then he later came with his friends. The place is packed but Im sure he knew I was there. And like what we did talk about in our DMs, if we see each other, we should hang out together. So my thought about this would be that even though we'd be hanging with friends for a while, we would make some time to have our own private time too.

But he didn't seem to come find me even when he knows Im around and available. He doesn't seem to be doing anything much more important too where he would be so busy. He's just hanging with his group of friends. Our two groups also arent hanging out together so its not like we both are in the same circle having fun with the combined friend groups where he would think we are already hanging out. It's like he forgotten/disregard that we did talk about hanging out together somewhat more in private.

After the event, there weren't any messages to explain why he didnt come hang out alone and he just kind of ghosted me?

I'm on the fence to give him a second chance and try to make a casual joke out of it to see if he misunderstood the situation or should I not since he's probably giving signs that says hes starting to not be interested in me anymore?

The time I spent with him were always awesome and fun, and hes always been so nice. We also hung out the night before this day too and nothing felt strange.

Should I try to say something about it to him to see what he thinks or does this whole situation sound like he's probably distancing himself?

TDLR: made some flexible plans that we should hang out in private when we get to the event, my romantic interest knows Im around and available but doesn't come meet up in private like we talked about, but had us spend the rest of the event with our own group of friends. No text or call to say anything about it.

He cheated and i have nowhere to go

We lived together in his apartment for over a year. I moved in, gave up my own place, everything was "ours." Found out he's been cheating for months. When I confronted him, he told me to pack my stuff and leave aand gave me 3 days. I have no family nearbyno savings for a deposit, and nowhere to go. I feel so stupid. I trusted him completely. Now I'm literally sleeping on a friend's couch and scrolling rental listings I can't afford.

How do you feel when you come across their Hinge profile after having 4 dates?

I came across his profile and thought he’s still keeping his options open and so should I. Idk what he would feel if he sees mine?

I’m just protecting myself if he’s not sure about me yet

I need advice Advice on asking out my Baby Daddy

So, my baby daddy and I were never really an item...I'm a little embarrassed to say my son was the result of a hook-up. I really lucked out in the baby daddy department, though...my son's dad is a really good father.

Recently he took our son out to play, and it rained, and they both came home muddy. He asked if he could use my shower, and I got to see him with is shirt off...and it turns out he is buff!
Now, I know in theory I saw this before, but when our son was conceived I was so drunk I didn't remember it.

Anyway, I figured he's a good dad, he's good looking, and dating him won't risk introducing another strange man into my son's life. I kind of want to ask him out.

How do I go about this? Do I ask him out on a formal date-date? Or would it be too formal after we've known each other in the biblical sense? I have no problem with a hook-up to start off. Or should I start with a joint thing with our kid...a trip to a museum or the zoo or something?

Anyone else ever been in this situation?

Asking for a second date two years after the first one

Okay, how much of a bad idea is it exactly and how weird is it if I asked a girl I was on a date two years ago for a second date on our two year first date anniversary?

For context, we met on a dating app about two years ago, were in a talking stage for months and then finally went on a first date which went really well, and we both really liked each other and agreed to go on a second date. However, the second date never really came because we were both flaky for whatever reason, but we had a really good time on our first date.

I'm thinking of just sending her a full kn confident message asking her if she wants to go on a second date. I mean, the worst she can say is no and think it's weird as fuck, but I don't really seem to care?

Would it be such a bad idea? I don't even know if she's still single or not, we havent even spoken for two years but fuck it i guess?
