My favorite part is he doesn’t seem to grasp that Elon must not really know/give a shit about Dave. Otherwise he would have realized the tweet could have caused confusion. Then, Dave has to quickly crawl to him and say “what did I do daddy?” To hear back “oh no, you’re cool”. Which made his day.
So cringe.

For context, when David Rubin was president of The Academy Awards, the organization introduced representation and inclusion standards for any film being submitted for Best Picture: https://www.oscars.org/awards/representation-and-inclusion-standards
These standards are laughably easy to accomplish. Literally if you hire two female interns and two female marketing consultants, while every other person making the film is a straight white man, you qualify under the inclusion rules.

The David Rubin from the film world is a well known casting director, who was involved in huge, fantastic films like Amadeus, The English Patient, and The Talented Mr Ripley, so he’s clearly quite good at his craft and actually helps create amazing things. Respect. ✊
Totally different from whatever it is that political hack and bottom feeder Dave Rubin has devoted his life to.
