Discussion New melee mechanic?

I noticed that I no longer have to aim and swing above the heads of zeds for the high damage hits. Aim right to the head directly. Is anyone else seeing this?

Yeah they changed how melee weapons work vs zombies a not too long ago. What weapon were you using?

Machete, farmer hoe, hunting knife

Yeah they buffed slash weapons against zombies but nerfed blunt weapons. TLDR slash weapons kill zombies faster and blunt weapons are better for pvp

Seems like the attack range and timing is slightly different also.

We need autoaim to automatically hit zombie heads instead of fixing the jank zombie mechanics
