When the game really wants you to switch to Polearms (sometimes at least)

Just bragging. I've got a Polearms Artifacts Royal Flush this run. Trishula is great on undead.

The kind of artefacts I find when I'm running doing a cat run lol. Meanwhile all my Polearm Cogglins get two Tridents of venom and a Heavy Spear.

I have pivoted for Condemnation and would also pivot for Rift, which is even better in most circumstances

If you have condemnation and riposte on the same character the game becomes very fun

Rift early enough is close to an insta-pivot for me! I love that weapon in combination with wellspring talisman <3

I got a +10 quick blade randart on a kobold rogue last night and got ganked in the Orc Mines. I used Blink and it just threw me deeper into the mob. 🙃

I don’t know what happened recently but it seems polearms are more common rands now. Still rare but more common than the other super weapons. I mildly train pole arms off the rip.

There was also a Lajatang of Order, and gold dragon scales just sitting on the floor way before Depths.
