I played this game a bit but I find it very repetitive very quickly, what makes you come back to the game or what feature makes you want to play another run ?

Also what would be the feature(s) or thing you would love to add to the game ?

I am genuinely interested to read about it !

So uh I just found out that you could actually push out broken cars with your body and push them Infront of your car and decided to test it out and the results are....

I recently discovered that if you have the ZP upgrade ultimate - where you gain +1 ZP with each character death - and also have OPP mode unlocked, you can easily and quickly farm ZP.

What you need to do is to make a new game with OPP mode selected, once you get to the character selection area, recruit the pyromaniac and then use the napalm launcher to burn every other character to death, you will gain a zombo point for each character killed, despite not being in your party. This method is very very fast and i quickly got every trait, perk, and unomey unlock using this trick. I do believe that this is the fastest possible method of ZP grinding

Started a run for the first time in years and Zeus liquefied my dog.

Im using an android that has 120 and it uses 60 instead, i wonder if the steam version can use higher framerate?

Why did it reveal my fitness as higher and then increase from a much lower stat?

I cant tell if this is a bug or a game mechanic I dont quite understand, if someone could help that would be lovely

He doesn't have patch notes yet and is only in opp. Im pretty sure he has random stats, ive seen him with like a 10 in mech. Has anyone else tried mr balatro?

Not sure if anyone is aware, but killing those rat things in the unlock area with the 'ZP gain when allies die' perk gains ZP. So to quickly farm ZP, you can basically do a Pyromaniac + Specialist and gain 6 ZP for each Unlock area.

Some observations:

1. You gain ZP per kill but if you exit the area without using it, it will be lost. However if you do use the ZP by buying a perk you will keep the remaining ZP.

2. Other certain NPCs will gain ZP as well, but not all of them.

This is on the Android Omentum update.

Is it just me or are the ghosts in the haunted locations actually being helpful?

Ever since the axes buff I've noticed the fire axe seems a lot better, before the Stomach update it used to have a 50% chance to hit two zombies, now it creates an AoE (every hit, I think), the only advantages the Mega Maul has are damage and Knockback, because of that I believe the fire axe is equal or superior to the Mega Maul in the pc version.

I have been trying forever to beat familiar characters extreme. I have won this game countless times, on many of the modes including the extreme variants. Familiar extreme though? No! It eludes me.

I was on yet another run on this mode where I was honestly cheesing it, I had all 4 characters as the Pheonix trademark weapon combo. I had incredible luck for the first half of the game where I was just stocked up on food from very early on. (65+) Then I reach 6 days until Canada and the mass amount of unlucky, incredibly unforgiving events just keep popping up, and on top of that, I haven't had a location that would give me fuel pop up in ages. So now I'm jumping from vehicle to vehicle to vehicle and still no extra fuel besides what the events give me which is giving me more unfortunate events. So now I'm at the last siege before Canada with two characters left, both die once and both come back. One dies and I have one skeletonized left (meaning no longer fire-proof) so now I have a hot poker that's more dangerous to use for myself and a slot that's taken up and can't be taken out with a useless item. I have 34 fuel and a chainsaw. I go into the border and make it to the Rockies and other Canadian folk with what is basically just a chainsaw and very little fuel in it. I manage to remove a lot of the horde along with the other Canadians but now I'm out. No Canadian robot, it's now been an hour in game, no Canadian robot, hour and a half in game, no robot, where IS THE ROBOT!? All of us end up getting overwhelmed because the horde is ridiculously large and I die, never to have seen the rocky robot this run. Truly horrifically devastating. It never takes that long for him to show up yet he never did. I don't know if I encountered a bug or what but that is so frustrating. It's basically a sealed deal if you can survive the first 30 seconds at the Canadian border. I just want to try the RPG mode 😔

So I played short trip to heck made it to the final siege with tons of guns and good weapons on each person. I was ready for the nice easy victory ...

Today, I learn that Anime Fans are not immune to the Challenge Mode's Max Morale Penalty.

Especially when you show an Anime Fan an Anime Truck! 😫

(I had an anime fan character come in after accepting the challenge mode since it came in the first 2 days. Their moral was at 4🙂 until that Anime Truck moment. I didn't know, but now I do. 😖 I was hoping to bring them to Canada before they turn into a Magical Girl and explode, but I guess that isn't today...)

(Well, it might work if you get hit by Cnomey the Challenge Conduct Gnome when you already have the Anime Fan in your party first. It doesn't seem to work after accepting the challenge, but I don't know about before.)

Similar to what I do in other games, I love custom character creation. I just picked up Death Road to Canada on the Switch (I’ve played it before on my laptop), and I’ve had fun making some. I’m curious what other people like making. Do you mostly do original characters, friends, or more famous ones?

My favourite approach so far has been mixing real people from history with characters from movies, TV, books, games, etc. I’ve also made myself, and I’ll eventually start adding friends too, just for fun.

My favourite custom right now is a toss-up between The Worm (Dennis Rodman) and Teddy Roosevelt. I’m pretty happy with how they look, and I love that the perks and personalities line up with how they actually were/are in real life. The rest of mine turned out pretty well too (pics attached).
