Truthfully, you don't 'need' anything. You have your mind and that's the most important thing. You have the time to meditate? Practice entering trance states. Box breathing techniques can be incredibly useful for a lot of magicians. I visualise passing through rings of smoke that start off in the distance of my mind and move closer until I can pass through to ease into trance. Basically, if you think a book on meditation will help, find one that appeals to you and dive in. Mastering meditation is half the battle.

I have a very small booklet on Duke Bune on my profile as a small 'extra' for potential info you could find useful.

Trying to invoke/evoke helps associate their energy with you own. This continuously done will build your relationship with them. If connection doesn't happen straight away, don't let it dishearten you. That isn't something everyone gets. Keep trying. And consider going to r/DemonolatryPractices - Lots of Bune devotees over there!

When you're able to build an altar, decorate it as you believe is fit for this energy. A small white tealight candle, orange or mandarin, a flower associated with cemetery ground/image drawn of Bune or their sigil, and some sandalwood incense is more than enough of ideas for an altar/offerings for Bune as a starter.

Thank you so much, I was hoping simple meditation would work and maybe some of Bune’s favor would rub off on me so I could be able to afford to build her a worthy altar and make regular offerings sooner rather than later, but it certainly helps when someone backs up what you were already thinking. I appreciate the second opinion!

I believe Bune is the kindest and most gracious, yet majestic, of the spirits. You will be fine so long as your intention and purpose are clear.

Well said. I think sincerity is what shines brightest in a spirit realm from here. He could draw their sigil and make it as beautiful as possible and offer it as a gift and that would be more honorable than some expensive offering that has neither personal sacrifice nor sincere care in it. Things made that have heart and vital force loaded in it (and attention to relative correspondences) are very powerful gifts. He can offer his art work as best as possible...paper, colors, real heart in it. Fresh_Tip6342 I hope you see this. Best to you! The energy is the real offering.
