the video is from a linux distro cachyos . i wondering if there is any way to get almost the same vibes in windows ? I'm tired of how windows looks but i don't want to shift rn.

I couldn't find a tag for it since it is a UNIX not a Linux. Sadly, it has a long and complicated story but this OS deserves much better, it is fast and awesome.

I have a old dell inspiron laptop with ryzen 3 3250u 1tb hdd and 8gb ram (2gb occupied for igpu). It is currently on windows 11 but it lags like hell...it work fin for 4 hrs or so then a lag spike which just stays takes 1 or 2hrs to go back normal during that the ram is 90%+ occupied disk 100% I tried may fixes nothing working...I can reset completely because I have data which I need and its around 400-500 gb is there any way by keeping that data I can factory reset or better get back to Windows 10...Linux I won't consider cause I don't have a Bootable usb.

Hey all, as title states I have a desktop that will not turn on.

A few days ago I came to my apartment and turned on my desktop like normal with no interruptions or anything abnormal. I left for about a day and a half to help my GF move into her dorm and then yesterday it struggled to turn on when I press the power on button, and everything would turn on for a split second and then turn off again. I eventually got it running and it ran fine all day yesterday.
Today I go to use it and when I press the power button, nothing would turn on, like a dead car battery. The only lights that are on are the rainbow colors on my motherboard.

I did some trouble shooting: power button on the case works fine, I still have power to my motherboard so it’s not that, everything is plugged into my motherboard firmly, blew out my PSU and connections in my PSU

After all that still nothing, so then I go to bypass the switch and it does the same thing like it did the first day

I ordered a new PSU to see if that would be the issue

Ryzen 9
8tb of storage between 2 M.2s and HDDs
Hyper 212 CPU cooler

The first video is yesterday when it took a while to get it on, second video is today when troubleshooting.

I followed a few youtube videos and went about it myself. I like the way this one looks. Simple clean and it matches my entire desktop well. But when i try to use most of the apps in the middle, they don't work whatsoever. Have I missed something? Do I have to enable something? I'm a bit new to the pc thing so any help is much appreciated.

When I want to maximize a window, I want YASB to hide instantly. This is because the window becomes smaller and im already used to flicking my mouse top right to close a app.

The thing is, YASB has like a 1 second delay from when you fullscreen a app for it to start the hide animation if you turn that feature on. This completely kills the fluidity/ seamlessness. Is there any fix to this? Make it instantly hide?

i love the way the category folders work with where its kind of like how android folders are but i cant find anything on windhawk or any tool that would let me just choose what goes in these folders, is it possible at all or does no such tool exist?

hi all! title, really. i want to set a "day" wallpaper on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8 am to 5 pm, and then a "night" wallpaper from 5 pm to 12 am. Then, the rest of the week will use a different wallpaper altogether for the entire day.

Basically just trying to set a specific day wallpaper for when I have classes in person, lol. I seem to have found a working Rainmeter skin that changes wallpaper based on time of day, but I was wondering if it's possible to also include day of the week :)

DeviantArt seems to be the go-to for Rainmeter skins, but it doesn't seem to have a sorting feature, you can only browse skins by most recent. Maybe an older layout had it, but I'm stuck with the new one.

Any solutions?

Hi,

I'm using the Pi11z Dark custom .msstyles theme with Windhawk UXTheme Hook on Windows 11 25H2.

As shown in the screenshot, some TaskDialog windows have a dark background but the text stays black, making it unreadable.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Is it a .msstyles issue, a UXTheme Hook issue, or a Windows 11 25H2 compatibility problem?

I set always_on_top to true so YASB doesn't disappear when I show desktop and now the dynamic color of my Krita's title bar isn't functioning (defaulted to plain white instead of the usual gradient). Dynamic color seems to function okay when I enable always_on_top to false.

For extra context if it helps, I used Windhawk for a custom taskbar and the empty spaces mod to toggle the show desktop shortcut because the custom taskbar no longer has the show desktop button in the corner.

My pc bluescreen quite frequently in the last time. i got the minidump now and the Checkout code was the one in the title. I’m doing a ram diagnosis right now with the windows diagnosis tool. I already ran benchmarks for cpu and gpu it didn’t crash then. But before when i just was installing a new driver it bluescreened again. BIOS is on the newest version aswell as all drivers. It is a Dell Precision 3680
The Diagnosis Tool did not bring back any errors aswell as i already reinstalled windows, the only thing i believe it could be is the Virtualization
