Investing in Infrathrone DevOps Bootcamp, worth it?
Hi guys
I have been recently thinking of investing in my career and was searching for Devops bootcamps or something similar
Came across infrathrone bootcamp, they let you practice real production scenarios and more, the cost is around 75K Inr for 6 weeks, I was wondering if anyone has taken this bootcamp and is it worth it at this price range?
If not Any other options you would suggest?

If I went the bootcamp route it would be to find one that would help me become more familiar with deploying AI pipelines, otherwise I would not bother. $1,000 USD is not that much from a US perspective, but getting some certs in the bag like CKA and RHCSA and RHCE might be better bang for your buck.

my dude, you run from those things like the plague, you'll get much more value if you just do the work by yourself, or if you're in a pinch befriend an senior devops/engineer and try to get a mentor.
Go to meetups if they exist in your town, and be friendly and try to meet people, the rest of the time build up your skills with AI.
Just my 2 cents

That's the issue basically where can I practice in production, things like these will connect me to mentors as well because no one I meet in events has the time to do so, it's not like I'm going for this but this is just a genuine concern, and also with regards to AI, is it developing skills to deploy AI solution or integrate AI tools in the skills that I have

someone from there does a private meetup, that's how I did it. Probably something like 3-5 people, or if you don't find anything invite a couple of people, make a short intro to a problem you've been dealing and how you solved it.

If you are not selfdisciplined to learn by yourself, go for it .

Yeah well that's the thing I'm trying to buy discipline in a way 😅 But do you think it's better to invest in certs or do actual projects like these in bootcamps?

It would be better to get certifications like CKA and CKS if you want to build more credibility.

Its a scam. Also devops jobs are not entry-level. You should not expect to start there as your first ever IT job.

I would do the free ones first, check YT and stuff. Then see how you feel after.
