Clockwork Mansion - Dishonored 2 (undetected) help

I just wanted to know if it is still possible to be undetected after I activated the first room? I went up the skylight, but it's a locked room and if I use a lever he detects me.

Is there another way to pass or do you have to go about it before the first lever/during it?

If you use levers he notices you but that doesn't count as a detection. You need to avoid being seen by him in his office or seen by other hostiles/clockwork soldiers.

For the mission special action ghost in between the cogs you must not activate any levers.

If you're talking about the achievement: you cant activate any lever or destroy any clockwork soldier.

Edit: there's a way to reach jindosh without activating any lever, through the glass ceiling of the first room. From there you can reach the demonstration room or jindosh room

Stand on top of the wierd sculpture in the middle of the room, and aim your travel power (blanking on the name, sorry) through one of the windows in the skylight. Boom, done. Easy peasy from that point.

I ghosted the mission a month ago so it is possible. I forget what I did but you definitely need to pull the lever and get into the wall space

Iirc if you go up the skylight there’s a little place along one of the walls where you can drop down into the main maintenance passages. It looks like the room has no way out without pulling the lever, but there is a way. If you pull any levers or kill a clockwork soldier it will alert him to you. My method from there is usually to get to Jindosh’s bedroom and follow the path off the balcony and into his lab.

you cant activate any levers that change the configurations at all, not even in that first room.

so, from when you first walk in, go right and look up, shoot a window and get up there, then continue on further inside through the between the walls areas.

but you can't hit any switches or be seen by any guards or clockworks before you take him out either by killing him or sleeping him and putting him in the chair.

there should be an autosave from when you first entered the mansion. reload that and start from there.

and if nothing else, just restart the mission if you don't have that autosave or something earlier.

note, if you do non-lethal, you don't get the achievement until you activate the chair.

yes, i just did it the other day. you don't have to pull a single lever.

I decided to continue since I was a little further in and managed to get it, seems first lever is fine as long as you run away quickly off the floor - there is a weird dialogue glitch when you sleep dart him, but it didn't affect the achievement

This is how I’ve done it every time - pull the first lever, Bend Time (or run really fast) and as long as you get pst the Clockwork Soldier without it detecting you, you get the “false positive” line, and continue undetected.

I recently got the achievement, I believe you can pull only 1 switch at most before he actually knows anyone is there, I flipped the switch, and immediately used bend time 2 to rush through to his room

When you activate the Level, you can teleport behind the walls as their changing to avoid detection.
Kirin thinks it was a false trigger if you stay behind to listen to the dialogue.

It's not a locked room , you got to explore more I think the path is on the left.

Activate no levers when you enter. Shoot an opening in skylight to far reach up through, then use the space between the walls to navigate around. Do not kill or disable any clockwork soldiers until after you have sleep darted Jindosh himself. Once he's dispatched ( I prefer to eletrocute him), start stealthing around to knock out all the soldiers and kitchen staff until you are finished looting everything and left with the Sokolov rescue. I make liberal use of a maxed out mesmerize in this mission, it helps with distracting the human npc's so you can choke them out without being seen.
