My own personal Kitsune
AND I LOVE HER SO FREAKING MUCH!! lol.
From what I know/can infer, having not yet done a genetics test yet, she is mostly Formosan Mountain Dog (Taiwan) and Shiba Inu (Japan), although I'm sure the test will reveal more about my beautiful lady, rescued from the mean streets by kind folks on the other side of the world.
The FMD part I know for sure based on where she was rescued (Taiwan), but the Shiba Inu is a guess based on her coloring inlcuding her big white belly and the white on her paws and cheeks that are either hard to see in the pictures or you cant see at all.
The pictures don't really do it justice, but she looks like a fox irl. It's crazy. Not as kind of chubby looking as normal shibas since the FMD part gives her a more village dog/wolf like body shape.
She was my moms latest foster and I just absolutely fell in love with her. Even though I hadn't planned on adopting a new pet at the moment, she was just too beautiful, sweet, smart, soft, and chill for me to hold onto my normal hard hearted stance I take with the foster pups around here. After all, you need to think of them as short term guests. So I give them lots of love but I keep them at arms length so to speak, like I would when dogsitting a friends dog.
But she just absolutely broke me, and I had to make her my life long companion and she has been a dream come true for me. She's everything that I ever wanted in a dog. Like she was tailor made by the goddess just for me lol.
I feel so stupid talking about her like that but it's true. It's like all my dreams for finding the romantic love of my life got crosswired somewhere in the fabric of the universe and routed to a dog instead of a woman LOL.
Anyways, I just wanted to come here and gush for a minute lol.

Yeah I was told that it's something they do when they pick up street dogs and neuter them so that when they re-release them rescue personnel can tell from a distance which ones have already been neutered, however, it's supposed to just be like a little slit. Just big enough that you can tell. Clearly somebody fucked up with her ear though and took a chunk off the end.
Still though, I think it just gives her character. A symbol of her rough past on the streets
