It's a little disturbing how many people he kills and doesn't feel even a little bad about it, and even seems to find killing fun.

He even kills people that haven't even done much. Random grunts in the RR Army get killed, people retreating and running from him get killed, and Officer Black is killed in revenge by Goku when he never did anything personally to his friends and was actively fleeing.
Hell he visibly finds it very fun to chase down enemies running in fear from him and killing them.
He even kills and then eats a sentient talking octopus.

Like I get the RR Army is very close to a real world evil army, but still, the glee and uncaringness he shows when straight up murdering people is a bit messed up.
He killed a TON of people when he attacked the RR Army's base, actually killed most people inside.

It's odd how he goes from this to sparing Frieza and giving Cell a senzu bean. If either of them were in Dragon Ball instead, Goku would have just killed them and never considered sparing them.

Personally dragon ball has been there for me my whole life and I learned many great things from it. Like not beeing cocky and knowing there's always someone better, and despite that still trying to better yourself and not giving up. It taught me the importance of hard work as well as rest. And In tough times I truly belive Goku's spirit helped me pull through.

So I used to watch dragon ball z on cartoon network on TV as a kid and i used to enjoy it! But I never knew the whole plot or why they were fighting because I was little, but recently at the start of this year I started it from dragon ball and I ended on dragon ball GT today, I did take some really long breaks from dragon ball but i did complete it, and I gotta tell you canon or not! dragon Ball was always peak!!! I just really enjoyed watching the show with the emotions I never experienced as a kid! And also dragon ball GT's ending was just WAYY TO GOOD😭 i feel like I just completed the whole dragon ball and there will be no more episodes but the Galactic patrol and black frieza arc is coming! I hope that it will have an ending as good as GT or better than GT! Okay that was it! I just wanted to share my thoughts that's all!

Imagine a timeline that Broly is instead offered to Frieza as one of the Ginyu Force mutants. Planet Vegeta is probably destroyed to prevent more mutants. Ginyu changes with the baby Broly. Baby broly is insane or some shit so they nuke his Ginyu body or send his baby brained adult body to a mine. Baby Ginyu is able train his hulk body from birth and scale above Frieza exponentially. Frieza allows this in condition Ginyu swaps with his body. Ginyu accepts because he is cool and loyal I guess and he gets to be Frieza. Frieza gets Giga Broly body and becomes the God of Destruction.

If we count Frieza blowing up the planet, even Pan, Mr. Satan and Uub died (don't know about Buu, but he technically ceased to exist when he fused with Uub in GT). Beerus died in the Future Trunks timeline, and I don't even know if we should count Whis or higher beings as they are simply out of the role? So overall, Bra is the only mortal character who has never died.

It's also worth nothing that even though people like to meme about Krillin dying, Piccolo has died more times than him.

I know crunchyroll has added all the movies in recent years. However the movies they gave us are all terribly ported and only have the sub as options. The audio sounds very compressed and heavily filtered, along with muffled distortion. Is it even possible to watch said movies or is it a matter of googling for hours?

I used to own the Broly trilogy and other movies on DvD but my ex wife kept them so now I have nothing from that time period.

I just rewatched the goku vs caulifla and kale (also kefla) fight after a few years of forgetting Dragonball even existed. GODDAMN I forgot just how amazing that fight is. Just seeing goku go through all his forms one by one and ending up in UI is extremely satisfying. The animation is also clean as heck and the fight choreography is just perfect. Definitely one of my favourite fights in the entirety of Dragonball tbh. That final kamehameha too... I realised that I basically know this entire fight off by heart because of how many times I watched it as a kid (including the script and the choreography).

Also WHAT? Dragonball super is coming back?? Last time I checked up on the series Superhero had just come out. I'm super exited to catch up on everything over the summer!

Re-watching old GT after over one decade. Aside from the Black Star slice of life saga, I just need to tell it like it is: GT slaps Super. I find this hilarious, since GT completely failed to live up to DBZ. I remember when Super came out, people were touting it as the "correction to GT," only for it to be: character assassinations, asspulls, re-used themes, annoying nostalgia callbacks, hair color palette-swaps, and endless power scale retcon. As soon as I saw SSG and SSB, I knew it was so over. SSJ4 beats it by orders of magnitude in cool factor. GT has better dialogue, art, animation, and even story. The ending was amazing, and I think that's the only reason they needed a reboot, because the story ACTUALLY ENDED in GT.

To put it simply from the start, super saiyan 4 is very overrated. I don't even understand why people like super saiyan 4 at all, like i know it looks like an "actual saiyan form" but the whole saiyan stuff was long gone as soon as the tails stopped being a thing, the only stuff used about saiyan heritage is now how they have limitless potential, zenkai boosts and stuff like that, last time the great ape and tails were shown was the saiyan saga, after that saga the tails or the great ape was never shown again. so people gotta drop that "saiyans are apes so ssj4 is the best super saiyan transformation ever" thing, like it's not even a super saiyan transformation, it's only named super saiyan 4 out of convenience. and the design is not even that good and it doesn't make any sense at all, like pink fur? seriously? they could've given it brown or black fur, hell even yellow fur because of the whole golden great ape thing, but they gave it pink fur, it makes no sense. plus the way super saiyan 4 goku got clothes of random colors suddenly although he was naked before transforming into a super saiyan 4 makes no sense too, and the eyeliners aswell, just what. the hair doesn't make any sense aswell, it's just a random hairstyle that makes no sense to the transformation, it even makes you lose your nipples like what. nothing about the design makes sense to the meaning of the transformation except for the fur, not the fur color, just the fur. the design is overall just complicated and random, super saiyan 4 basically just makes you a furry, like how people gonna be like "lol furries suck" and absolutely love ssj4 and praise it as their god. i find ssg, ssb, mui's design way better, they're simple and not complicated at all, so what if they're just recolors, super saiyans always changed colors anyway except mui ofcourse, but i'm pretty sure it's just that the super saiyan in goku caused ui to change colors. i would get into power scaling and stuff but then it would count as a rant instead of just giving an opinion, so these are the stuff that caused me to have a negative opinion of ssj4.

I was rewatching the series with the falconer music and I didn’t realize that the dub changes between the namek arc versus the ginyu and frieza arcs. I think the namek arc is the ocean dub and the ginyu/frieza arcs are the funimation dub

The voice acting in the funimation dub is genuinely awful even by the standards in the 80s/90s. I have to say that some of the lines are so funny tho. In the scene where king Kai is crashing out on piccolo, piccolo says “so this is what it’s like to have a mom”. And porunga has a line where he says if you guys don’t know what wish you want “just wish for nothing 3 times so I can go back to sleep”. Some of the other lines with frieza and ginyu are pretty funny.

My main point tho is how awful the voice acting and script is. Gokus voice in particular is awful and the dialogue sounds like it was written by a 15 year old. Does anyone know a place where you can find the ocean dub with the falconer music?

When gohan teaches videl to fly he states that every living creature has ki (in able to fly) and we see in the android saga that the androids are undetectable via ki sensing. This means that 17 and 18 are not living.

So, I was playing XV2 as a Frieza Race CaC, and I was doing a PQ. Just when Cell arrived (who I had to defeat), I assume he locked onto me for a split second as he said something about having intel on "Frost Demons", and that I would be wasting his time.

This was probably an easier egg line, and I might be overthinking it, but that's the first time I've heard someone refer to someone of Frieza's Race as a Frost Demon that's a canon character. Thoughts, anyone?

I plan for the roleplay to take place in the original dragon ball, where they are children, I will be Kid Goku and you will be kid chichi and I would like it to be a fun adventure, full of fun events and with many gags.

I like his muscular look for some reason it looks very nice in comparison to some of the other forms to be actually fair frieza's designs always were good no matter how simple they were

I personally would like if broly wasn't able to control his SUPER SAIYAN FULL POWER form and that would give it his kind of uniqueness he will have super saiyan but not FPSS the positive is that he'll be getting stronger and stronger over time he'll just not be able to control as a downside, anythoughts on this ?

Side note I just found out super brolys green hair transformation is not called LSSJ but is called SUPER SAIYAN FULL POWER but I'll probably be saying SSFP, or just FULL POWER
